Chicken importance in skyrim.

Hasn't anyone else figured it out yet? Chickens, as birds, are the genetic descendents of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are simply ultra-primitive dragons, thus chickens are the next generation of dragon-gods-in-the-making. When you attack a chicken, you are attacking Akatosh incarnate.

it has something to do with chickens being marked as reporting crimes like an npc, unlike other animals that cant report crimes

This cracked me up soo much... When once, under a shadow of night, I performed assassination and caught a bounty... I accidentally killed a chicken and got "last witness killed..."

Chickens seem to be of very high importance. I had two encounters with bandits where I managed to sneak up on one of them and shoot him. The other guy went berserk on the nearest chicken, seemingly suspecting it to be the killer.

There's something seriously off with chickens and this game.

Yep, I've killed an NPC who was guarding a house and his mates went off swinging two handed swords at a chicken which took off down a hill. Made me laugh and also made it easier on me to gain entry.
