Rennn
Fortunately, I ran as an admin and the framerate drop disappeared.
Lyanheart
Mine seems to run the same with the new patch as it did before with the 4gb launcher. Constant 60 FPS, full ultra settings. No crashes, no funky errors, lots of graphic and texture mods. I'm starting to think some people's computers are just prone to failure.

Vhaerlyr
is there a way to avoid getting patched this way, exept for not going online ? FYI you can go in steam (even in offline mode I believe) and tell it not to update skyrim if you right click on the game in your library and go to preferences (or was it properties) whatever was at the bottom. Set it to "Do not automatically update this game" and youll be fine.
coreypikes
In an attempt to figure out what the problem is, I'm curious who else is experiencing this? After patch 1.3 installed, my game has become choppy. Fps is down by a solid amount across the board. Areas where I was at a steady 60fps, I am now at 30-40. I played this morning before the patch and the game was fine. The only thing that has changed is that the patch was released and I am no longer using the 4gb launcher (because it no longer works). I was using 1.4 of the launcher since the fxaa injector did not work with 1.5 Edit: I downloaded version 1.5 of the 4gb launcher and it works, but the performance loss is still there. Peace I cant even use 4GB anymore. Really this is sux. Yeah..... 4Gb launcher is no longer required with 1.3.10 due to the fact that the new.exe is LAA. So stop using the launcher and see what happens.
shadow56
My game is running the same with version 1.3.10 as it was when i had version 1.1.21.0 and the Skyrim 4GB. I no longer use the Skyrim 4GB with the new patch. Have had no game crashes to date and am running the game on ultra settings. However, I am not running any script extenders or graphic enhancement mods. That could be the reason some people are having so many problems. LoofSquared
Over one hundred hours and I've never experienced any bugs or fps drops with Skyrim, am I the only one, have I just had an incredible luck so far? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/unsure.gif
runicNomad
maybe when they do some bug fixes for quest and such i will update. otherwise I stay with 1.1 which of course I love because I run the exe with no steam either.
TheCommodore
Is there anyway to downgrade from 1.3 in steam? I have a noticeable performance drop. Even when I lower my settings it gets the same fps of like 20. I was playing at 30 - 40.
Wazooty
I'm starting to think some people's computers are just prone to failure. Yeah man, that's totally it. My computer which has run perfectly for months and months on anything but skyrim after a small patch they do is prone to failure. You got it man. Anyways, the issue is video drivers needed to be reinstalled. Working fine again.
