And I have completed the model for the Wyvern.

Take a look.

I deleted a few of the faces at the top of the new forelegs to make my own connections to the main body, I think it worked out pretty good.

I've also found a strange problem in Nifskope when I load the NIF up.

The problem is when I deselect the mesh, it just appears as a black void.

It may because since I've modified the mesh, I may have messed up the UV map and will need to regenerate it.

I donno, it looks funny ... I think it would look real cool if you removed the two back legs and kind of had the two front legs dragging the rest of its body.... or like the others suggested and kind of have it similar to a t-rex

This way, I honestly think it looks like a dragon dog hybrid (Dont wana know how that hybrid came to be - lol)

Edit:

Ya I agree with some comments above where the front legs are too bulky, why dont you look at these models from Dragon Age Origins:

The exact definition of wyvern is hard to pinpoint, but it seems to boil down to "a dragon which does not have four legs". In this sense, all the dragons of Skyrim are wyverns. Typical dragons, on the other hand, have four legs AND wings.

That being said, the name doesn't really matter. Looks cool! :)

What this man said.

My suggestion would be to give him underdeveloped wings that he uses as forearms from years of evolution from walking on land and being flightless.

Maybe have some left over restraints on his 'wing arms' that imply the race was forced to inhabit land.

Edit: Thinking ahead. They'd need to be fast on their approach so that the fight doesn't open up with an archer class 2 shotting them before they get close enough to attack. Give them a massive leaping or bounding sprint ability.

Fellow Australian here, as well. :)

Thats a good idea man.

Although I think I won't put the wing restraints on him, since these Dragons are a little different then others.

I'm not sure about the leap though because these guys are meant to be huge massiver Brutes who shrug off damage from ranged weapons.

Thanks.

Yeah I see what you mean in regards to the leaping idea. Just make sure they aren't too squishy :P. I recently discovered I can 3 shot Dwemer Master Centurions with arrows which kinda made me think: "Oh.... okay then... that was disappointing...".

Another idea would be massive boulder like tails to balance them out if they are front heavy.

I'm also thinking they could break into a sprint after running for a while, in which they prop themselves up onto only their back legs to chase you down if you try to run.

Australian's FTW?

Huntsman i agree with you, but then like you said this isent like other's IE Dragon's

It should be more Land Riddin, Sense it does not fly. it should have evolved to suit that too its benefits. by As he said. Sprinting at you with great force. and what not. Other wise what would be the point. Well there is one but you know what i mean. Christmass Blaaaaa.

Overall, I am very impressed with the work you have done here. Offering my own two cents on the front leg issue, I have to agree with the poster above me and say that undeveloped wings would be appealing from a logical and immersive standpoint. The charge (Or perhaps a wing buffet, if you consider doing the underdeveloped wings ), in a manner of speaking, could be bad in more ways then one and cause an untold number of issues depending on the severity of the subsequent flight your character/the NPC will take.. Fall damage if you get charged off a mountain (Might be interesting with a levitation spell to save yourself), falling through the world, perma-paralysis by getting stuck on another object, auto save fails (Haven't played enough to notice if it autosaves on the World map so might not be an issue).. Just my thoughts.
