huntsman2310
So I'm finally in agreement on what I'm doing with the Wyvern's forelegs. I think what I'll do is delete most of the copied back legs except for the area below its 'knees'. Then I'll model my own leg up from there. http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8938/wyvernfinalfinaldesignw.th.jpg This is my model as it is at this second. huntsman2310
So I've rebuilt the leg from the grou-....foot up. heres how its looking so far.http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/1280/mirroredwyvern.th.jpg You can't really see the new forelegs properly in that pic, so I'll repost it tommorow. Only problem now is how to unmirror the damn thing. Edited December 26, 2011 by huntsman2310
ALittleBird
Looks great so far. Really an improvement, I'd say.
sainen
the neck is too long(or the legs are to close together not sure which) imo, but other than that it's looking great.
huntsman2310
Thats not the neck, thats its default tail, and the reason you can't see the forelegs very well is because its from a top down perspective.

WolfScribe
Some serious changes need to be done to make it more reptilian. Look where the Komodo Dragon has its legs while it walks for example, out to the side. http://www.draconian.com/dragons/Images/Komodo%20Dragon/otto-dragon-attack.jpg It's body is also very low to the ground and it snakes when it moves. Your model is very impressive but it looks wrong because it stands the same as a cow or a dog does, which is over its legs and very high up rather than in between them and very low. MAke the model look more like this and it will look perfect! You could also consider removing the rear legs so its body drags along the ground while it keeps its head raised
huntsman2310
Once again. No. Someone already suggested that and to me that sounds stupid. Why are people so obsessed with physically handicapped Dragons? Besides I outright said in the first post that it would have four legs. And it doesn't need to be more Reptilian. I'm basing its movement patterns of some of the four legged Dragons from monste hunter tri.
leot486
I don't know if it has been said or not but unless anyone else hasn't noticed, the dragons in this game aren't dragons they are wyverns. If you are making a four legged version without wings, what you should do is add wings, and then make it the true dragon and move the existing dragons to wyverns. Pretty much what I am saying is make dragons dragons and the already in game creatures wyverns as they should be. Just a thought... :D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyvern http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon As you can see from reading wiki, it proves my point ^_^ 4 legs, 2 wings=dragon, 2 legs 2 wing/arms= wyvern Edited December 27, 2011 by leot486
