Athanasa
I'm honestly probably going to cheat by taking existing interior cells, cloning them and then reorganising them. At least to start with. Especially with the small prefab interior cells for settlement hospitals. I'm sure some of the tiny Diamond City shacks would do the job nicely, if redesigned on the interior. Screenshots to follow, eventually. EDIT: So that was a mistake? Cloning an existing location then trying to edit it at all caused errors galore. I ASSUME doing stuff to the cloned location means everything is safe in the original location, but it's scary when it starts threatening to break your game. chucksteel
Nothing wrong with that, You can still use to tips to quickly change the look of damage and materials. What they really let you do is to randomize the used tiles without using Find and Replace or trying to look them up in the object window.
Athanasa
I shall upload the screenshots of my folly here. It seems to be going well? Although I suspect I went a LITTLE bit over the top. It felt too empty, then suddenly it felt too full and messy AND empty. (I suspect I need posters.) http://i.imgur.com/kdC53tz.png Edited November 16, 2016 by Athanasa

I still have no idea how to get the object pallet stuff to work (I must be missing a keybind or something, and the CK website is... obscure at times). Also, the answer to fixing the 'clutter' issue was to add posters to make MORE clutter. At least now it seems like it belongs to a hoarder who collects signs. chucksteel
ok bring up the Object Editing Pallet Find an object in the object window you want to use a lot. We will say BEER! Drag it from the Object window to the left hand panel of the Object editing pallet. You will now see it listed in that window. Select it in the Object editing pallet and it will appear in the Object editing pallets Preview window. hold down the Alt + Ctrl key and click on an object like the floor or a table in the render window. You will then see a new Beer added to your cell. If you had the havok sim running the object would auto havok settle so if you click a wall it would then fall from the point you clicked to the ground bouncing off of anything with collision in the way. hit the save button and name your new pallet "Bottles" or something relevant to you. you now have a pallet you can add items to, use at any time. Now he the NEW button in the Object editing pallet and it's ready to create a new list of objects to use.Drop a wall in from the Object windowsave and name "Walls" You now have two lists which you can use that hold specific Items you have chosen. The two lists will show in the Right side Panel and you just need to select which one you want active to change between them. Once you understand this I'll explain how to use the Rotation and Hight feature for Havok items. Again hope this helps.

I could see the guy in the video spawning them with SOME sort of hotkey by the sound of it, but I couldn't figure out what the hotkey combination was. Random question: Why does turning Havok on make the ghost-NPC on the beds turn sideways? Also, the Alt-Scroll thing is fabulous. Rather happy with how the little RV has turned out. Anyhow! Off to bed, work tomorrow. Edited November 17, 2016 by Athanasa
chucksteel
Skeletons and Dead NPC's use the havok sim so do not have one selected when toggling the Havok Sim or they may move in a way you don't want. They both can be a pain and I've not figured out a better way to deal with them. Edit: looked at the screen again and now I'm assuming your talking about the furniture marker for the bed. I haven't noticed them ever change myself but I'm curious. Post what bed form that is and I'll try to reproduce this. Night,

Edit: It was actually happening to all beds. I just deleted and re-placed them in some of the screenshots. chucksteel
I just may not have noticed I tend to have the markers turned off while cluttering. It could just show the possible sleeping positions for NPC's. I am just guessing and am going to see if I can figure out a reason in the .nif's or ckit. Mostly because I'm curious about it. I'll let you know if I figure it out.
