Adding a Little Realism

I really hope someone will make this...

 

I got to thinking about ways to add realism to the game, and I came up with a way to do it using active effects. I won't be able to make this myself, since I have no idea how to mod the game, but hopefully someone out there will accept this project.

 

Basically, this mod would add three elements to the game: Hunger, Sleep Deprivation and Broken Limbs. Hunger and Sleep Deprivation will each have 3 stages.

 

Hunger:

 

When a player goes 6 hours without food:

Hunger: -10 Stamina

-10% Stamina Regeneration

 

12 hours without food:

Extreme Hunger: -20 Stamina

-20% Stamina Regeneration

-10 Health

-10% Health Regeneration

 

20 hours without food:

Starvation: -50 Stamina

-50% Stamina Regeneration

-50 Health

-50% Health Regeneration

 

Sleep Deprivation:

 

When a player goes 20 hours without sleeping:

Sleep Deprived: -10 Stamina and Magicka

-10% Health, Stamina and Magicka Regeneration

 

30 hours without sleep:

Fatigued: -20 Stamina and Magicka

-20% Health, Stamina and Magicka Regeneration

 

40 hours without sleep:

Exhausted: -50 Stamina and Magicka

-50% Health, Stamina and Magicka Regeneration

 

Broken Limbs:

 

A 75% chance that a random broken limb effect will be added every time an enemy lands a critical hit. The three possibilities are:

 

Broken Arm: -50% Attack Speed

-50 Health

-50% Health Regeneration

 

Broken Rib: -50 Health

-20 Stamina

-50% Health Regeneration

 

Broken Leg: -50 Health

-50 Stamina

-50% Health Regeneration

-50% Run/Walk/Sprint Speed

 

All 3 of these could be active at the same time, putting your life in great danger. I'm thinking the only way to cure them would be to drink a Health Potion, a Cure Disease Potion and getting at least 12 hours of sleep for the medicine to work.

 

...and that's it. Please, if there's anyone out there who's talented enough to make this, I encourage you to volunteer!

Ill second this, another thing you might want to try out are;

 

-Damage in general.

ever tried to comprehend being brained by a war hammer and then continuing to fight?

 

-Recognition

Be able to loose your bounty by disguise or armour change or full face helm

People realising that a dude is walking around with weapons and armour generally considered evil

 

-Saying no.

being able to say no to whingy b*tches

remove quests from log

 

-Challange to deul

Ever wondered why people are allowed to kill you in plain sight of the gaurds, while you hitting someone will cause the gaurds to turn on you

 

Some stuff like this i would like to see implimented

Let others recognise your feats and decisions. As an example, I'm tired of hearing from the scholar in Whiterun that I should "join the Mage College in Whitehold, if you've got the aptitude", when I'm already the Arch-mage there, and the only ones recognising me are the guards saying I'm "that one from the Mage's College" (or something).

 

I haven't racked up any serious bounty (just 40 gold which I payed), so I don't know if there is, but bounty hunters? Does that exist there? If not, shouldn't they?

 

Arrow in the knee should be an injury type, since most of the guards have suffered from it.

+1 I especially like the recognition idea. I have been wearing forsworn armor walking through forsworn-paranoid Markarth while investigating why people are being attacked by forsworn... its a bit of a giggle to me, but it could use a touch of "hey... isn't he wearing forsworn armor? guards, get 'im!"

 

or perhaps being able to use it as a disguise... walking around a forsworn camp while wearing forsworn etc etc...
