badboyobubby Posted December 22, 2011 Share Posted December 22, 2011 This is more of a rage post than anything else.Have uninstalled skyrim, cause the patches f***ed up the game. Now I have reinstalled, had to dl again, and set the game not to update automatically. Guess what, it starts updating. That I do not want, since I want to play the game without crashes and bugs, the way it was before the patches came out Done ranting now, sorry. Is there any way to stop thw update? LilHagrid Posted December 22, 2011 Share Posted December 22, 2011 Hi yaIf you load up the steam page by clicking the steam link on your desk top, you should see Skyrim at the top left of the page. Right click The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and then select Properties.On the second tab : UPDATES there is a drop down menu you can edit to "Do not automatically update this game" as far as I know this does stop the game from updating.
