In Sheep's Clothing bug

Post main story.

 

Finished Far Harbor.

 

Returned to Commonwealth and attempted to outfit Piper with a new clothing mod I found. Traveled to Diamond City to get her.

 

In Sheeps Clothing starts as Danny Sullivan is lying there with "two in his gut and a nasty fall". Here's a stimpack you whiny little muffer.

 

Head out to the elevator and up to Piper. Press the button. Talk to McDonough, Piper blows him away.

 

Then the bug starts. "I gotta clean up here Blue, give me a bit".

 

a WHOLE MONTH in game later of waiting and she is still standing up there, inside his office. Danny has been bleeding out for a month. The two residents have been boisterous in their convictions about they cant believe they voted for him.

 

Doesnt matter even if I load a previous save. Same problem.

 

I even loaded a save from 165 mother effing levels ago. Im currently 171........travel to Diamond city. Piper immediately wants to run off to do this damn quest.

 

I've tried console commanding. Ive tried PRID 2f1f, disable, enable moveto player. Nothing works. She will not dialogue with me. Just like clicking on a regular npc.

 

So I pulled a Chris and Rhianna and slapped her. Now she wanted to shoot at me, but Longfellow wasn't having that s#*!.

 

What gives? Do I have to start a new game to fix this?

 

Has anyone else encountered such an odd bug AFTER a mission was completed?

they often break this kind of thing

Not that I am aware of, I know that Immersive Gameplay changes the time scale but I have two other characters that this hasnt happened to, granted this is my only survival character.
