TheElderInfinity
You know, I hope Bethesda does with this what they did with the 4GB Skyrim patch and incorporates it into an official patch.

FireBug3
“This patch will improve your frame rate by up to 40% in all CPU-dependent situations, i.e. especially in cities. It works mostly by rewriting some x87 FPU code and inlining a whole ton of useless getter functions along the critical paths because the developers at Bethesda, for some reason, compiled the game without using any of the optimization flags for release builds.”Source This do sounds like Bethesda, going to try this. edit: oh wait, i need latest version of skyrim ?!, maybe later then. cornmacabre
This mod has had a dramatic improvement on my FPS! I have a modest but capable system, and averaged around 20-25 fps, with noticeable drops in comp-intensive areas. I'm averaging 35-40 now and the game runs so much smoother. It also seems to have improved some mouse-lag issues as well (no way to confirm; purely subjective) This is a must-have!
jwcurry83
This should be on the top of every Skyrim PC related forum right now... it is NO BS! I have seen a solid 15-20% increase in performance... if not more in places!! The author of this plugin deserves a spot as a Skyrim programmer to say the least ;)
wader2k
Kudos to Arisu. This works! There is a spot in Riverwood that I would see 21-22 fps. Saved my game standing in that spot and tried with and without this mod...... Without mod - 21-22 fps With mod - 29-30 fps. This is excellent work!! I am running an i7 860 with 8G of Ram and a 5850 GPU @ 1920x1200 with the HD 2K texture mod and the Skyrim UI mod. Just started messing with mods and such last nite. The SKSE and the NMM are very helpful. Tried running windowed for a while with the SBW mod but it didn't seem to improve anything so I went back to fullscreen. Still trying to decide if I should try the FXAA mods, but I don't think I can take the performance hit. Maybe this performance mod will put me over the edge now!
