templeofninpo
I saw Alchestbreach has a bit of a playthrough series with models with radios for heads (for NV). Would it be possible to straight up replace the head with a picture... like a painting. just a flat 2d object?
IsharaMeradin
You could create it as a helmet and have it use all the various head slots in order to hide the head completely. You'll have to do something about the neck tho seeing as if nothing is meeting the body properly one can look down through the inside of the body. templeofninpo
I tried turning a helmet into a painting (using eastempiresign), checked all the head parts, did the same with the ArmorAddon version. still nothing.
NexusComa
If a mod maker can add a completely different helmet to the game then was there to start with ... then yes this could be done.In fact ... with a lose file and some out of the box thinking and a type of pre-stretching program (not made in papyrus). to create the .dss texture. You could create a mod that would let you add your/anyone's face from a picture ... This would be a lot of work but sweet if you could pull it off. Try taking it step by step ... 1st try to just get the pic to be there as the helm .... then remove the head. I would think this would be as easy as simply replacing where the object (helm) is looking for it's mesh and then the mesh using the .dss pic as it's texture. For the 1st step ... templeofninpo
Ok. So far. I had to make an 'outfit' so my test npc could use it. Now, I figure I can make it the picture smaller using a different mesh, but turning it to face forward I'm at a loss.... Ideally, I would place it right on the shoulders and only have it a little longer and wider than a head.edit- very funny. not wearable (picture comes straight out of middle of sight)bottom picture I occupied all slots, body, hands, etc. Edited November 14, 2016 by templeofninpo
