Lyanheart
When you are high enough level Daedric starts to appear. Not sure about Dragon armor, though. I thought I saw a guy wearing it the other day but I could have been mistaken. It was a mercenary type guy walking down the road.
Stevandv
I was wondering the same thing.. theres not much sense jn putting all those skill points into smithing if you can just find it down the line... little to late for me , i've already hit
Cookicut
You're better off smithing it yourself or sticking to Ebony set instead. They have an extremely rare random loot rate. And trying to get a full set from it would nearly be impossible. Ebony can reach armor cap easily.
KratosAurion777
Actually this is completely useless to put more than one point in Smithing because you can have the armor perks with steel armor BUT if you want a Dragon armor for the look then yes i never looted one . For Deadric , You can make some at the atronach forge below the College or You can loot them .
agno
The syrim lvl system is sorta unfortunate, when you get to the right lvl daedric becomescommon unfortunately.... not available but common. you wont get a daedric sword from a boss, no that would be cool. youll get 3 daedric swords a mace and a daedric bow on the way to the boss, and they will be dropped by skeletons.... when your at the right lvl. all the shop keeps will be selling daedric when you return home to sell allthose daedric items the skeletons dropped. I wish they had a system where like 5% of npcs were loaded, like 3-5 times as wealthy as others, not only higher end items, but armor, higher qual pots, and rare ingeredients, higher end gems etc etc etc... just a tougher dude. you'd have 16 bandits, 3 of em had a few glass items, most had steal and one of em had enchanted armor / daedric greatsword etc... the "boss"
elleonblanco
The fence in the thieves guild had a few pieces of dragon scale when I got somewhere around level 55. If you want to craft Daedric you can always use the Atronach forge in the midden at the mage's college in Winterhold. Allows you to get Daedric without wasting valuable perks on the smithing tree. d3vo
I've picked a Dragonplate shield somewhere though I didn't need it since I already smithed a whole set already. And I've also found Daedric weapons several times, I'm not a fan of Daedric stuff anways so I just sell them =P.
dianacat777
I found dragonscale armor twice, and some daedric weapons. I've yet to see daedric armor though, at level 77.
WorldShaperDragon
Really? wow. I've gotten a full looted set (had a smithed one way before though) with one character by level 51 (last missing piece that playthrough was the helm), and the earliest piece I got was boots at level 41. I've gotten a dragonscale shield at level 46 before.
