Hey guys. How are you today? I need advice on how to get rich quickly. So do you have any tips, tricks or places to check out in order to get alot of septims? I know the obvious like raiding bandit camps, dungeons, completeling bounties, completing quest lines and of course stealing. But do you have any other tidbits of advice

Also i know that fur armor is not the best armor in the game to use however i love the way it looks at it works well with keeping me warm and alive due to the frostfall mod, that i LOVE. However when i try to increase its armor worth i am unable to do so. I know its due to the fact that there is no perk regarding fur so its technically not possible to improve fur armors rating but there must be a way right?

Anyways, thanks so much for your advice and insight. I really do appreciate it. Have a great day :)

While raiding bandit camps can be good for money, it's not that good. The quickest way to make money is crafting potions and making iron daggers, then enchanting them. I usually will buy out all merchants for their unfilled soul gems and then use a soul trap weapon of some kind, be it conjuring or enchanted. Then I take those crappy filled gems and enchant the armors and such with destruction, and the weapons with paralyze or some other expensive enchantment. Go through your list of disenchants and see which one will give you the most money and pick that. When you get your enchant high enough, it really goes fast.

As for the fur armor, you can upgrade it by getting the smithing disenchant and then making gear directed toward making armor. Use potions to bolster your skills before you make any item, and then once its made, upgrade it. Once upgraded, you can put the light armor boosting enchantment on it. Being a vampire also helps.

As said, you can make a lot of septims by leveling up alchemy and selling potions, some are worth a lot. Making smithing/enchanting potions and using them will help improve your fur Armor and increase your smithing

Fur Armor does not have a perk point associated as it is basic light armor. The ability to improve it is default, like basic Iron. I don't know if Frostfell changes things, I am able to improve Fur in my game right away.

The char in my Profile pic is in Hide armor. and level 125. Her armor is equal to Dragonscale from smithing/enchant potions.

One thing not to be overlooked is Jewelry smithing and mods that add left handed rings and other jewelry, like earrings. These can add substantially to overall protection/resists. I use UNP and use the hide pouch from ZZJays wardrobe as I can enchant it for carry capacity  and it's cute.

Disenchant loot rather than selling it until you have learned enchants. This will level your enchanting. Eat vile, disgusting ingredients to boost Alchemy and learn what they do. Don't worry, you only "nearly" kill yourself doing this

I use Goonie the summonable merchant to take all the swag off my hands, and that helps a lot. I also have OBIS loaded and the loot mod that goes with it, which adds more stuff to sell, though you have to work for it.

As for getting more armor rating out of your fur, you have several options. One is, as mentioned, to smith it up to high levels, and also use elixirs of blacksmithing to boost how much you can improve them by, or you add discrete armor items like armored rings or circlets to your outfit, that let you really wear whatever you want without worrying about the armor rating of it. One useful mod is "Eldrid's Armor Mashup" which has this pair of armstraps (strings, really) that are actually light armor and can be improved. They blend in with most armors to the point of being invisible. Finally, you can download TES5edit, and simply alter the armor value to whatever you want, if all else fails.

As a side note, for female characters, Nisetanka's armored bikini mods have items like thongs. and body harnesses which can be worn under regular armor without being noticed too easily. Using SPERG, I ended up with an armor rating of 8000+ by layering armor in such a fashion. Normally, anything that high is useless, because vanilla armor rating caps out at something like 660+ but I was using "Armor Rating Redux" that set the cap at 5,000 or so, and 98.5% or so damage reduction. I had to tell the mod to alter the max cap to 90% DR in order to have any challenge at all.

I just stroll into the Console Bank of Skyrim and show them my super secret code, 0000000F and get what I ask for. Here comes the immersion part.... the bank then assigns a three man team of Reiklings to follow me at a distance far enough that I am unaware of them. They pick up all the trash I don't loot and deduct it from the loan. The bank seems content as they have never contacted me on anything untoward.

Mora Tapinella + Creep Cluster + Scaly Philiota = $$$. That combo makes a pretty expensive potion. But you have to travel around quite a bit to gather these. Mora Tapinella is easiest to find around Riverwood and Falkreath, Creep Cluster around the hot springs near Kynesgrove, and Scaly Philiota throughout the Riften area. There are probably more profitable combinations, but AFAIK those are the most lucrative harvestable plants for potions, with the added benefit that you can grow them in your gardens and greenhouses.

Why would being a vampire help?
