Yes and it works only on one side of the door, once used the second switch on the other side does nothing. Flawed mechanism.

 

I solved this using contraptions switchboard and it works, if you want to know how to make 2 switches open/close at both sides of the door lemme know I'll sell you the trick. (It's actually easy, just takes a while to set up the power settings a bit for the switchboards).

You also omitted the fact that I don't have ALL DLC which is required for some of those mods you posted (I wrote that at the very start of the post), thanks anyways, also I tried searching on nexus, but every time I do a search I get "Nothing found ... " so yeah. thanks for links.

Dude, this isn't Burger King. You don't get to have it "your way" unless you make it yourself.

 

If there is already a mod out there for something, either use it or don't. If you don't like how that mod does what you want it to, make a new mod for yourself. If there is a mod out there that does what you want, except it requires a DLC, pony up some dough.

 

Asking other people to do something for you because you don't like how it's already been done and you are either unwilling to do it yourself, or too cheap to meet the requirements for that content, is... well... less than endearing.

 

Mod authors do this in their free time, without getting paid, and share their work because they love what they do.

We are not here to cater to anyone's particular desires but our own.

 

Expecting anything else is pandering to your own sense of entitlement, and no one here is going to spend hours of their time indulging that kind of attitude. Nor should they.

But therein lies the rub, it is a mod request board. You can ask for anything that you want, but it is up to the people who make them to make it to their or anyone else's specifications.

 

So while you may want things a certain way, and you are certainly free to ask for them to be that way, no one is beholden to you to make them that certain way.

I'm well aware that if anyone would want to pick anything of this list of mine up, they would probably contact me.

Instead pretty much everyone on this topic started bashing me as if this was a place where you DON'T request a mod.

 

Take this down if it's not the purpose of this board or someone should make sure people like that are no longer allowed to do the bashing again.

Just because someone is a premium member that gives them the right to bash and troll ? Nice picture of the community of the Nexus is being shown, real nice.

 

Years ago I posted about Saber (FSN) mod for Skyrim and someone contacted me, then I worked with the person by providing accurate images and information, anything that would help them. I'm glad to say the mod is well endorsed, went through many changes and is really great and fun. By posting those mods that I would like to see in FO4 I actually hoped that one day, someone will pick something up and contact me for more details, ideas or any information that might help.

 

This is how it usually works with modders, if they are interested in doing something someone requested, they contact the person at some point.

 

Congrats to anyone who decided to troll and bash instead, the bandwagon was great, and you managed to piss me off like you did with the other topic.

It is not a bandwagon.

 

If one person calls me a tool, I'm probably going to ignore it and look at them as a basher/troll.

But when several people do it, I'm going to have to give it a second thought and see what the common denominator is in that equation.

 

In other words if multiple people are telling me I'm acting like a tool, rather than feeling picked on I'm going to examine my own behavior to see if there might be something to what they're saying, and change it accordingly.

 

In this case, that's you, and people trying to help you, and it just not being good enough for you (in your mind). Instead of blaming the community because they called you out on your s***, take some responsibility. It happens to all of us from time to time.

 

As for your requests regarding existing mods/DLC, you have three options, as has been mentioned:

1) Roll up your sleeves and get to work.

2) Use what is already there, even if it isn't up to your exacting specifications, and buy DLC as needed.

3) Do none of the above and don't use the mods in question.

 

Pretty simple, really.

 

Turning a negative attitude into a tantrum because others call you on it does not change what those choices are.
