Yea this is spreading like wildfire

 

And for good reason.

This isn't new at all, it's just a redraft of previous bills. Bills that failed.

 

But the House is determined to pass this one, and it probably will. Hopefully, Google and their partners (Mozilla, Facebook, others) that are against this bill will be able to at least put a longer hold on it.

 

There's also PROTECT IP, which is just as evil.

 

If you look at the details, both of these bills are basically kicking freedom of the internet in the butt and censoring it. If either is passed, I can only other countries don't follow the US' mistake.

I think that SOPA is <very very censored> I automatically assumed hypocrisy on their part. Cynicism is wonderful.

This this this. The guy in the OP's video sounds like a conspiracy weirdo, hard to take seriously, which is not helping anyone. I wish people would stop posting that vid everywhere. Totalbiscuit's video that you linked here explains why the points made in the OP's video are not the points that need to be made here.

 

Totalbiscuit also has another video with a good explanation of what SOPA is about. Keeping it simple and without the sensationalism.
