hi everyone this post is meant for you to post extra ideas on and tell me if some of the mod does not fit into the lore. this is only a rough draft i will recheck all of it while in the process of making the mod. the following quest is only one of the many i will include in my mod.

SKYRIM DWEMER MOD: Ruins of Abthvahrk

basically this mod will be a questline explaining the disappearance of the dwemer and finding the god they tried to create

ok firstly i will tell you the lore you have to know:

before the dark elves where what they are, they were called chimer, they hated the dwemer because the dwemer believed in logical gods while the chimer believed in the daedra. when a god lorkhan created nirn ( mortal realm ) the other gods where furious and ripped out his heart and hid it under the red mountain in morrowind. the dwemer found this heart and where using it to create the god like golem numidium this angered the chimer. they later planned on creating the artificial gods as mockery to the chimer, before this happened the dwemer and the chimer fought ( battle of red mountain) the chimer stopped dwemer from creating new god and stole the heart. the dwemer teleported to a different realm. later the tribunal (three chimer who used the heart of lorkhan to become immortal) gave numidium to tiber septim who powered it using a soul gem called the mantella. septim used it to conquer tamriel but it was said to have been blown up and scattered around tamriel.the blades rebuilt numidium and from then on it was not seen. later on dagoth ur again tried to create a god using the heart of lorkhan but nerarvine was said to have destroyed the heart

heres my twist:

using the heart of lorkhan the dwemer had created many creatures like the dwemer dragon for example. the dwemer felt that they could create a demi-god with infinite wisdom to help their civilisation advance, they were to call this demi-god numidium. thay wanted to create a demi-god as he could live in the mortal and god-like realm at the same time making it easier to communicate with it. the dwemer realised the threat the chimer posed to their plan so they moved all their most precious contraptions to a hidden underground base in skyrim called the Abthvahrk ruins.the chimer at this time had stolen the heart of lorkan and was said to be destroyed later when dagoth ur tried to recreate numidium. at the same time the dwemer had also transcibed one of the elder scrolls and descided to use it to teleport to a higher realm where they could defeat the deadra and then they could later teleport back once the chimer had no more daedra to believe in. unfotunately the dwemer had miscalculated the experiment and the elder scroll had not been transported with them giving them no means of returning. using "the calling" ability the dwemer chief told every dwemer to chant the words needed to teleport. as yagrum bagarn (immortal dwemer also seen in morrowind) was in the oblivion realm at the time he was not teleported and he will be the dwemer my mod is based on. he had been looking for the answer of the dissappearance of his race and seems to have found it.we will be able to find his journal in the college of winterhold explaining the events i just explained.yagrum has also found that once numidium had been rebuilt it was placed in the ruins of Abthvahrk by tiber himself to prevent it getting into the wrong hands

QUEST LINE

1) you find journal and are instructed to go to blackreach to look at clues

2) in blackreach you find that a certain wall will open by using something else ( i dont want to spoil fully) . in the secret room will be the a location to which you will travel

3) once in the dwemer ruin you must find the blood extractor. the extractor will turn out to be a sword and you will learn that to open the Abthvahrk ruins you need the blood of a dwemer dragon and that of a dragonborn to open the Abthvahrk ruins.you learn where the cannister/key is which will hold both bloods and be used as a key to open Abthvahrk

4) you go to ruin 2 and find cannister there you find out where the dwemer dragon is situated

5) you kill dwemer dragon and find an elder scroll in his nest. you extract his blood

6) you will go to Abthvahrk ruins and open gate using the key

7) you will activate the demi-god numidium in Abthvahrk by accident and you must banish it using the elder scoll you found. afterwords you will learn that the heart of lorkhan was in fact an indestructible object due to its divine nature and because of an extreme magical lock the dwemer had placed on the heart it would always find its way back to Abthvahrk

8) the ruin will have goodies in it ( like dwemer chainsaws, flamethrower and mechanised steam shield) and will be very usable as a house

and you will be able to upgrade it using dwemer scrap you find in other ruins

here are some extra ideas

weapons:

dwemer chainsaw sword

dwemer gun blade( will only fire when attacking normally and wont be able to aim with it eg like in ff8)

new range of extra dwemer weapons with no special effects but they will all contain animation which look awesome

dwemer flamethrower ( remodelled staff or something)

magical gauntlets which tap into the power of the heart of lorkhan to give so extra force ( maybe mega punching gloves simulating fus ro dh when you punch)

dwemer weapons which look kinda dragonish and japanese yet still have the brass look

special blood extractor sword

armor:

extra animated dwemer armor ( remodelled dwarven armor including moving gears and steam)

special shield with gears which blinds things with a light at the front when blocking and staggers opponent

creatures:

dwemer dragon (unfotunately i would not have the skill to make it like a centurion will most likely be a kinda edited and retextured goldenish dragon)

dwemer robot follower (not sure on what he can do maybe suggest some ideas)

huge dwemer spider

a small master centurion which some mage built (dont be decieved by its size)

numidium!!!!! he will be huge i assure you

locations:

add bits to blackreach

ruins of abthvahrk ( main quest )

12 important quest ruins ( maybe 9 dwemer ones)

5 random dwemer ruins with a goody at the end

last but not least puzzles:

now the puzzles wil be hard as i am a myst fan and have finished every episode and i cant stand the sight of a lever which has the clue as to how it should stand written over it

book reading

deciphring languages

map markers which wont help instead you will actually have to read the journal

colour coded door stuff

jammed gears and levers

death traps

cages

things which dont move the way you want them to

annoying books which seem to lead to nowhere but turn out to blatently show you the clue

if you have had the patience to read this far then you are awesome and i will definetely take any ideas into consideration

wanna help work on the mod just message meor post a comment cause i would love to have some extra fresh ideas/helpers

Wouldn't that Yagrum guy be dead by now?

im pretty sure that yagrum is immortal. in morrowind he is meant to be looking for the answer to where the dwemer went which means he was already alive for thousands of years

yagrum is infected with corprus, one of its side effects is immortality to dying from natural cause

Yea - about the lore part, there's a huge thing in there that goes against it. I'd like to see this mod, but consider this constructive criticism so you can make it lore-friendly.

The Dwemer heard of the Heart of Lorkhan and was closing down on its location. At the same time, they were creating Numidium to fit the heart in it as well as tools to handle the heart. When they found it, the chimer came in behind them and stole the heart, causing the Dwemer to disappear and the Chimer become the Dunmer. The three Dunmer then used the tools and the heart to become immortal and became known as the Tribunal. Later on the Tribunal fought Dagoth Ur over control of the heart where it was destroyed by the Neravarine and the mountain exploded. (Summary in a nutshell.)

Who cares it was destroyed , its a magical item :P . It may appear somewhere else as a result of something beyond our understanding, it may add even more flavor to the story :) (If you mention the fact that it actually relocated mysteriously to a dwemer ruin below skyrim , like those moments in movies when "WHAT ? It ... it cant be ! I thought you died back there ! ")

Sounds like Yagrum isn't actually in it though anyway right? Unless I misunderstood -- sounds like you find his journal.

Sounds cool man, best of luck on the project. :D

your right!! i wont actually mention his exact where abouts. it will be his journal summarizing his notes

thanks for the reply

thanks for the reply, in this case i will probably edit my story. i might say that due to the divine nature of the heart and a magical lock the dwemer had placed on it, it was bound to end up in the ruins of alphamer ( something along the lines of that anyways)

wow!! this comment gives a whole new dimension to my story. like i said earlier i might include a story of how the dwemer placed a magical curse or something on the heart so it would always find its way back to the ruins.

i love the idea of bringing in the "WHAT JUST HAPPENED" moment into my mod i might explain the appearance of the heart after you are suddenly are forced to banish alphamer it would add suspense.

thanks for the post
