rahman530
I need help... I'm trying to set alpha mapping on a male body mesh that i took from malebody_1.dds and inserted the mesh into Iron Armor. What I want is to make the leg part of the mesh transparent so that it wont clip with the pants of Iron Armor. I have successfuly made a saperate texture file that adds alpha maping to the legs and inserted alphaProperty into the branch of the male body in NIFskope and in the NIFskope 3d Scene, i can see that the legs are transparent and it looks great. But when i play it in the game. The Legs are visible and it seems the only way to do this is to edit the orignal texture for male body, But this will change for ALL character in the game. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say here. If ut helps I will post pictures soon I have attached an image that shows how it looks in nifskope, and how it actually looks in the game. Ghogiel
You can't really do what you want that way.. as the races textures are set up in the race entry in CK. and the skin shader will point the texture to the actors particular races texture on bare body parts. meaning what is in nifskope doesn't matter in terms of the texture maps, that gets all swapped around when equipped depending on the race of the actor. I would just delete the leg geo in a 3d app, anything else seems a bit weird. Edited December 25, 2011 by Ghogiel
