Brataccas
Hi everyone, I recently updated KS Lite for the XB1 and PC and there's a *huge* discrepancy between the size of the archives: PC: KS_Hairdo's_Lite.bsa = 146 MB XB1: KS_Hairdo's_Lite.bsa = 189 MBXB1: KS_Hairdo's_Lite - Textures.bsa = 51.9 MB On closer inspection, the XB1 mesh .bsa isn't using compression at all - (the files are 189 MB out of the .bsa). Is there a better/alternate way to packing these other than the Creation Kit? I tried using the .nif optimizer and that shaved 20 MB off (which is great) but still nowhere near the size of the PC mod.
Honkman
Hi Brataccas, Did you read this : This does currently NOT support particle meshes and head parts (including hair meshes).Their format was changed for SSE and the optimizer doesn't implement it yet. You can find it at the Description-Page of the Tool here -->> http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089/? And for packing Files 'n Folders to a .bsa you can find a Tool inside your Skyrim Folder ( PC -Version of course , I don't know anything about XBone ) -->>.... \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Tools\Archive\Archive.exe greetzHonkman
Brataccas
Yes, I use Archive.exe to pack my PC archives - I want to know why the CK (using archive.exe) doesn't compress the XB1 files.
