[idea, not req] Skyrim Voiceover Revamp

An interesting thought arose after walking around whiterun for a bit. I noticed many of the characters (both radiant and quest related) are played by the same one or two actors. So I came up with an idea.

 

What if we compiled a list of all or most of the characters in skyrim with a list of dialogs, then different people would record their fan dialogue for their favorite character. Then after a little screening by a few people we let the community vote on who would be cast as the character?

 

A massive undertaking, but an interesting idea, eh?

Interesting idea, but practically more or less impossible. There's an awful lot of dialogue and characters, and not too many voice actors with professional grade recording equipment in the community.

What IS possible to happen,is to find some people to re-record some voices,so for example instead of all argonians have 1 voice for male and 1 for female,they have 2 or 3 voices for male and 2 or 3 voices for female.

But a unique voice for each unique npc ? Isn't going to happen..

definitely would love to see more voice acting with extended dialogue as well such as more details on where to find quest caves and such.

look for the thread "pre-ck immersion breakers" that guy is looking into redoing all the voice work in skyrim to take out repetitiveness. so I have suggested to him to try and get about 10 actors per race rather than 2.
