  1. Well, then thanks a bunch for ruining it for the whole scene. you totally welcome, I am talking as being in some dev pants who spend 10 hours per day of his life for a mod that maybe could be called locational damage, or decay process or whatever who may add new content, give new way to quest line, could add new models and so on, I agree with donations even ifI trust more in a fair price... but effectively donation takes more sense, every week could be release a newer version and so... well let's see first when CK will be out to judge. You see those mods? Those ones, over there. Those millions and millions of totally free mods for an awful lot of games. Evidently, the people who actually make mods? They don't agree with you. It's a hobby, and we do it for fun. I've seen attempts to add business models to modding in the past, though. Called the "Burning of Insimenator" as I recall.
  2. *facepalm* I think you need to level up your comprehension and try this thread again.
  3. I'd like to split Steam up, really. The ability to download games digitally is great and is undoubtably the future of PC Gaming, but I'd like this to be split off from the social/achievement/data management/dictation of when you're allowed to play your games/ ridiculous policies/ DRM. If you want that bit, great, download it and install it and use it. If not, then just buy the game from Steam and use it as you wish. Presto, instant utopia.
  4. Thanks for the reply and explanation! Accoridng to CPU-z, my processor (creaky though it may be) does support SSE 2. And no, I haven't been trying to run TESVAL and SkyBoost at the same time (although I've seen anecdotal evidence they work together) I don't run ATi Tray tools or MSI Afterburner, or (AFAIK) anything or the sort - and as you say, that oughtn't mess up TESVAL. I'm really quite mystified.
  5. This would be fantastic. And mildly impossible, sadly.
  6. ... I'm sorry, what? I'm not terribly good with computing stuff, so I'm afraid I have no idea what that is or how to find out - would you awfully mind giving me an idiot's summary?
  7. You could try using the Omega drivers - I've heard good things about them
  8. Sorry if this is a common thing, I tried looking through the Bestsoft forums, but the godawful multiple threads thing over there makes it tricky. So, if I ever try using Skyboost or TESVAL, I crash to desktop just before I hit the menu. The log shows the TESVALL.dll loaded correctly and I'm using the correct version of SKSE which has been confirmed to be working correctly with both getskseversion and with my using of SkyUI with no issues at all. Any ideas?
  9. As far as I remember they have the same skills that you had when you first encountered them, and disabling, then enabling them brings their stats up to your present level.
  10. Don't bump, especially when your post is still on the front page. EDIT: Especially twice. Thats just silly. If you feel like modding, Mida Magic has some pretty cool stuff for high-level players.
  11. I don't know, they could have just given the Stormcloaks hedge-mages. I think they just wanted the armies to be conventional armies.
  12. After few fast travels your horse will be in stables of that town, thats how i find mine... Unless, of course, it's dead. In which case, buy a new one.
  13. You're perfectly allowed to post footage of anything games because by doing so, you aren't giving other people the game. Thats what they mean by sharing copyrighted material - If Skyrim were a movie, uploading it to YouTube would be sharing copyrighted material because people could watch the whole thing from what you uploaded. Obviously, you can't play Skyrim through a YouTube video, so it's fine. In future, think about it a little - can people get the whole experience of the product by watching this video? Oh, and search YouTube for whatever the thing is.
  14. Not all mods use .esp files, especially since there isn't a CK. Any texture replacement mods don't use esps, for example, and therefore won't show up in the Data Files list. They should still work, but make sure you tick load loose files.
