Can you bypass the ingame mod manager

You don't have to use the in game mod manager at all. I've never even opened it. I've used both Nexus Mod Manager and Mod Organizer 2 for Fallout 4, I've used both the original Mod Organizer and NMM for Skyrim. I think I used NMM when I played Fallout NV. I don't remember what they're called but there are even lesser known mod managers. For that matter, technically you don't even need *any* mod manager software. You can manually install and uninstall, I've done that as well. However I don't recommend that approach if you don't know a whole lot about what you're doing. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation

Well I bring this up, because the moment I boot up FO4, it shuts off EVERY esp and then I have to turn each one back on manually in the ingame manager, or it just shuts them off again the next time I try booting it up(if I use NMM to forcibly turn them back on)

See "Title".

Their is no "Ingame Mod Manager". The Nexus Mod Manager is a free to use utility provider by the Nexus fir your convenience. You may use it or not, your choice.

You may also use the Mod Organizer (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19078/?).

You are also free to install your mods manually, although uninstalling them takes quite a bit of work.

Use of any of these is your choice.

Actually there is. In the main menu, click on Mods. I've never used it, but basically it lets you browse and install mods from Bethesda.net. Unfortunately it has no ability to sort using tools like LOOT, you can't use xEdit with it, etc. So I guess you could say it's not a true mod manager in that it has no features other than browse, install, uninstall, manual sort but Bethesda considers it a mod manager. It's in fact their official mod manager.

I've never even checked it out, just read about it and that alone was enough to avoid it ever since. I'd rather manually install mods, which is actually how I started. I manually installed mods for probably 6 months before ever using a mod manager lol.

Okey. But I thought that was only a Bethesda device. I do use it to enable my mods, not to install them. and it does have a Load Order function (not used). So, yeah, I was wrong. A misunderstanding. My sincerest apologies to all. Thank you, Demanding.
