passinglurker
considering its the author that just told you it's still WIP I think reports of the projects demise are exaggerated
Moldy
3 year without beta test, most likely the project is long dead Wow. That's new. Modmaking moves at its own pace,Kroenen, not yours.
Radsweeper
3 year without beta test, most likely the project is long deadThis is not a fast food drive-in window. This is considerable, long term project. I suggest you start reading up from the beginning then -If you can't wait - move on. Nihilisaurus
...you just responded to the person developing it, who's posted new assets in the last few weeks as well as consistent updates, status reports and in-game video over the last 3 years as well as having delivered similar long-term projects in the past. You might actually be an idiot. Or you're trying to leverage your disbelief to get some sort of preview version, which is - in my opinion - even dumber. ShanaMetalGoddess1991
Wow, Kroenen17 just got torn a strip off of, but yeah like seriously how long do you think it takes to complete a large scale weapon overhaul like this? Did you think it would be finished overnight? Did you even consider that this particular W.I.P project relies on another third party mod that is currently being updated and so therefore is a factor outside of the control of this developer? Your average weapon mod could take anywhere from 1-3 months to finish, and even then might be updated afterwards down the line. So get off your pompous, selfish, high horse ass, and maybe show some appreciation and gratefulness to mod authors like this who put in the time and effort to make such an excellent work of art of a mod and share their works with others when they're under no obligation to do so, and practice some damn patience. WaterHazard
3 year without beta test, most likely the project is long deadNah, still alive and well. If it wasn't for the stalling by Ammotweaks creator, this piece of art would already be released (And also, revolutionizing Fallout 4 from the ground up) Edited April 1, 2019 by WaterHazard
antistar
3 year without beta test, most likely the project is long deadI think everyone else covered the mod's current status fairly well, but just to add: I kind of take it as a compliment that you're interested enough in the mod to post something like that, but obviously there are more constructive ways to go about it - because if you are genuinely interested in the mod, hostility is an odd tactic, since it's at best going to have no effect. (Oh also it's more like two and a half years at the moment. Still a fair while, but it's a big project.) Nah, still alive and well. If it wasn't for the stalling by Ammotweaks creator, this piece of art would already be released (And also, revolutionizing Fallout 4 from the ground up)Again I don't think it's a case of stalling; AmmoTweaks is just a big, complicated and ambitious mod, like WARS. Also oof, I appreciate the kind words, but man, I sure hope WARS turns out alright in the end, because things like "piece of art" and "revolutionising Fallout 4 from the ground up" are kind of putting the pressure on. ;)
Wylight
I can understand the frustrations that some people have with this mod having never even had a "WIP" release like other mods do because the unfortunate fact of the matter is that once this releases, every single weapon mod on the Nexus will need a compatibility patch to function properly and consistently with WARS. I don't know how many of their respective developers will bother to come back and make a compatibility patch so many players will see it as either WARS or every other weapon mod out there which is a considerable trade-off. Point being, the more this takes to release, the more weapon mods will have come out which will require a patch. That being said, I have only recently discovered this mod and I'm sorry if this has been answered before but why exactly do you require to shift from Loads of Ammo to AmmoTweaks? And do we even have certainty that the mod's update will come this year or eventually at all?

As for the release of the new update for it I did say in an earlier comment that it's not exactly Antistars place to say any specifics, since it's not his mod, however the impression I get is that Antistar and Isathar (pretty sure I spelled it right) are in communication with each other and from what Antistar specified AmmoTweaks is indeed still being worked on, so it's up in air when it's going to be released, but it is going to be released.
