HanFyren
If you are considering missile launcher replacers might I suggest the Carl Gustaf Recoilless Riflehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Gustaf_recoilless_rifle https://youtu.be/0XyDbQ9rRB8
Moldy
If you are considering missile launcher replacers might I suggest the Carl Gustaf Recoilless Riflehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Gustaf_recoilless_rifle https://youtu.be/0XyDbQ9rRB8I brought that up before, actually. Though, something to point out; The Carl Gustaf is not a rocket launcher. The shells it fires lack engines, with the exception of a single shell-type. Everything else is an 84mm bullet, more or less. It would not be able to fill the same niche as an actual rocket/missile launcher, because of this. The closest comparison I could make is that the Carl Gustaf is most similar to a tank's main gun. antistar
If you are considering missile launcher replacers might I suggest the Carl Gustaf Recoilless RifleReally I was implying there that I'm probably not considering Missile Launcher replacers. ;) The Carl Gustav does give me some pleasant nostalgia for Far Cry 2 and the original Operation Flashpoint, though. (And I mean the original Operation Flashpoint, from 2001.) The M202 Flash is what immediately came to mind the first time I saw the quad launcher mod for the Missile Launcher. If I was going to replace the Missile Launcher with anything, it would probably be the M1 Bazooka and M202 Flash, as separate weapons. That would require models, textures, animations, etc though, so it's not planned, to be clear.
passinglurker
History did have 1 example of a magazine fed rocket launcher. The M25 repeating rocket launcher.https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1200/1*cXnkGz5ZU7nJ8ChWk4BBQA.jpegUnfortunately this weighed 3 times as much as its single shot equivalent for a magazine of 3 shots so yeah pretty much a dead end looking for things in real life, and the fallout launcher is about as plausible a weapon as anything one can make up in fiction (except for the quad barrel mod. can you say "backblast"?) dragonslayer2k12
Speaking of quad barrels you guys remember that really corny movie "commando" starring arnold? I remember somewhere in that movie he had a quad barrel launcher of some kind.

antistar
Yeah that was the M202 FLASH Yep. That's quite the expression there, Arnie. In WARS news I've been working on changing the Radium Rifle to the Volkssturmgewehr. Most of the work's done there. I needed to patch up the mesh and texture holes left by removing the capacitor things(?) welded to the top of the receiver, and touch up the magazine meshes and textures in a similar way after removing the sci-fi junk strapped to them. (I also replaced the 10mm rounds they had in the mags with 7.62x39mm rounds squashed to resemble 7.92x33m Kurz rounds.) Oh, and I gave it iron sights because it didn't have any - what with that sci-fi junk being in the way originally, I suppose. I'm planning to have all that removed sci-fi junk form a weapon mod (a "Gamma Infuser" maybe?) that re-adds some of the radiation damage the weapon had in vanilla. The rest of the radiation damage will be added by those wire/foil dish mods that go around the barrel. I'll likely parent them to the Gamma Infuser mod and call them "Gamma Amplifiers" or something. The idea is that the Volkssturmgewehr will be a 7.92x33m Kurz weapon (with 7.62x39mm re-chambers available too perhaps) found in the Commonwealth. Children of Atom may carry variants that have been modified to do radiation damage. Maybe there's a particular story/faction-related perk that could be a requirement for crafting those radiation-damage mods, too. That seems reasonable to me... I haven't played Far Harbour yet (I'm saving it - along with the rest of the DLC), so I could be wrong, who knows.
AwesomeNino
Any chance of other AR models being added like the HK416?
antistar
No, sorry. There's too much other work to do - and it's too similar to the AR-15 - for it to be even remotely worth it to spend the huge amount of time that would take. dragonslayer2k12
One thing that was kind of annoying about the volkwagon mod on nexus was the muzzle brakes were too big and didn't seem to fit the gun right. All I had to do to fix that mod was alter the sounds to use non auto effects and instead use semi auto effects then it quit playing echo sounds forever and works just fine now. I have that STG44 mod from nexus and just made the volkswagon dependent on it for the 7.92 ammo. Kinda fun carrying that STG44 around in far harbor then switch up with the volkswagon for close range stuff.
