Invalid papyrus Ini...

So... hey everyone.

Just gonna say first, I'm not technical or anything. My game runs pretty okay, I've got a crap laptop so everything is on low settings and i've got mods, but my game has a tendency to be horribly unstable and crash every now and then. It's most likely a mod thing but between the crashes that happen once every few hours, the game is pretty fine apart from not responding on loading screens- usually not an issue at all though.

Except when it does crash, trying to re-load the games causes a CTD. usually validating the files through steam works to get it up and running again, but i was hoping the mod safety load mod would help with my problems a little since i saw people praising it like the second coming of jesus when it comes to stopping CTDs while loading up the game.

Since downloading it i've had an invalid papyrus ini come up which i have NO clue how to solve, even after doing about two hours of googling. I tried doing the getinisomething "imaxallocatedmemorybytes" thing to see what the issue could be and on that particular line the memory bytes was in the negatives. I reckon that's where my papyrus problems are coming from. The mod itself actually did nothing to solve my problems either so i uninstalled it lol.

Not really looking for a fix for my modding causing my game to become a potato, just the whole papyrus issue. Got any clue how it could be solved? Before this i could deal with my potato skyrim, my impatience just got the better of me.

I would suggest using an SKSE.ini to help with your memory allocation since you are having freezes and crashes, but like IsharaMeradin said, it might be good to delete your .inis. I personally would just delete my whole skyrim folder and inis and do a clean install if it was crashing and freezing for no reason. Also, make sure that your mod setup is in a good order. If you want, you can post it here. If you use LOOT, you can click on the 3 dots in the upper right and copy your load order, then paste it here.

Deleting the .ini worked! Crashes are getting worse though :/
The thing is, with my game it runs completely fine at the start. As soon as I hit up to level 18 - 25 i've noticed, I cannot access my save files or it crashes. I made three different profiles to test this out and did a bit of digging. All three of them got to around 8,000mb (i think?) when the crashes started. I can load up my level 2 with no issues, but apparently anything above 18 is an issue.

How would I use my SKSE.ini to help? I want to try everything before doing a complete uninstall and reinstall. Every now and then I update my load order with LOOT (did a sort this morning), so I'll post it here:

I believe SKSE.ini helps allocate your memory usage. I am not positive that this may help this situation, but it will help in general. Read over that mod. It has some good information for making your skyrim more stable. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/?

Also note that anytime you move/alter/delete a mod, you should really start a new game or use a script cleaner to avoid issues in your game.

As for your load order:
1. Clothing Clutter Fixes requires Weapon and Armor fixes in its required mods. Download that and put the Weap+armor before your CCF
2. JK's skyrim mods that change cities do not do well with effects that change the things in the city. I am not sure if this expands to nPCs in that city, but it may, in which case your NPC editing/sound mods may not be compatible. See if there are patches for the mod or ask on the posts sections. You can also look in TES5Edit for conflicts to see if the mods touch on each other. I think there are youtube videos how to do this.
3. I would move your XPMSE after FNIS. It's not really required, but if you are moving mods about, I would put it as near last as you can get it.

I'll try those! I think I had the weapons and armour fixes a while ago but cant remember why I deleted it. I think it was causing mesh issues and the heads were disappearing- but then again my memory isnt great lol. A lot of the time when my game crashes repeatedly, I'm not in any of the cities. But I'll do some digging around. I wouldn't be surprised if the problem was mostly down to my crap laptop.

Got any script cleaners you'd recommend?

As for the deal with laptops. I've personally talked to Boris who made all the ENB stuff and some mods, among other things for skyrim. He said that they didn't really do much testing on laptops and ENBs aren't really designed to be compatible. That just tells me that there are other issues with laptops likely lingering in the programming elsewhere. However, I myself use a laptop (though it's more like a beefy gaming desktop) and it works fine. I have 200+ mods and no Ctds. I run Snapdragon and play with it just fine even though it is designed for screenshot archers (people who take images of their characters). If your laptop doesn't have the ability to handle the graphic load of Skyrim, it's probably because it's a crappy laptop rather than just being the laptop itself.

I've never used a script cleaner, but I'm sure if you google "Skyrim nexus script cleaner" you might get something.

haha by crappy laptop i mean the thing is almost four years old now. A bunch of games i could run on it a year or two ago i can't run anymore, I'm just hoping my skyrim problem is down to mods and not my laptop :'( if nothing works, I might just try stashing my current savefiles somewhere so i don't feel like all that progress was for nothing and uninstalling/reinstalling the game, and only using mods i feel are necessary. If that doesn't work either I'll just have to cry until a few months later when I get a gaming PC.

If you are getting a gaming PC in a few months, I wouldn't bother with the headache and just play SSE or a different game or something. Once you get your new computer, you are going to have to reinstall all of your mods again anyways, and they have to be in the same order as on your current saves or it'll screw up the game.

Well, I did everything you said and i also deleted/moved my savefiles elsewhere and I've had barely any problems playing for a total of ten-eleven hours. I've actually been able to play my character up to level thirty and fight several large enemies at the same time! im wondering if only have CCF and not the WAF was causing quite a few problems. It hasn't worked this great in about five months haha. Except after eleven or so hours of playing, this bugger pops up.

The only .nif file up there looks to be the SOS skeleton file. This is the second time I've gotten this message (Last time was a few days ago but i closed skyrim too fast to get a proper look), should I uninstall and reinstall it or something? I'm hoping this'll be the last of my major problems.
