Clearing cell data

Is it possible via the console or other tweak to clear cell data more periodically or to do so via a key? is there at least a command or mod that increases corpse decay to at the most 1 day?

I am nearing my 200 hour mark and all the data skyrim is saving is starting to well bloat and cause lag and crashes. I use disable on some stuff like never decaying ghostly remains or ash piles but I can not disable skeletons and oddly there are skeletons in strange places like hovering in the air in some spots. in addition I try to pick up weapons and put them on corpses that will decay instead of having them referenced on the ground. still my save games increase and increase and increase in size.

although this game touts infinite quests it is simply impossible due to the way the game clears data.

This one works for me - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=89 - it let's you choose how many game days for delete/re-spawn.

This one keeps the corpses from dropping stuff (as all dropped stuff seems to be marked persistent and never goes away) - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4528

They both help with save game bloat.

thanks for the info.

is it possible to link a spell to a console command such as the purge buffers. I am aiming at creating a cell buffer purge using vac so I need to link some key or action to this effect.

i suppose there is a way to do it using dragon script. any ideas?

I'm not a scripter so I can't help you there but in another week or so the CK should be out and I'm betting that one of the first CK mods will go a long way towards fixing the horrible save game bloat. I just make it a point now to never drop anything on the ground, always dispose of stuff in containers and use the console to get rid of all the useless fluff (loose bones, debris, nick-knacks etc. or place them in containers (dead bodies are the best containers for permanently getting rid of stuff.)

I'm afraid it's up to Beth to correct the memory address and leakage problems though.
