Deximator1771
Can someone please help me with my mod order. I don't understand how to put my mods in the right order and would appreciate any help and tips.
Varichi
That isn't a load order. It's just a list of mods you have installed. The easiest way to post your load order is to copy and paste it from LOOT, which is a tool you will need to install to help sort your load order anyway. Install that, sort your .esps, and then come back and post what it says if you still have any problems and we'll see what we can figure out. Kroekr
What mod did it tell you to take out and why? Are you sure you have all of your patches for WICO? I don't use it but I know it has a lot of patches.
Varichi
When is the crash occurring? In-game, or before the loading screen?
Deximator1771
It pops up the small screen, I than press play and never opens. This happened once before, (i used the "console" mods for the se edition) and same thing happened, but for that time I just restarted my computer and it worked fine, and that was over a month ago. Kroekr
Try validating your files through steam. It will tell you at least one needs replaced (that is normal, is only your video settings so you will need to set them again). Do any of your files require SKSE or Sky UI? That could cause your problem right there. Double check the mod requirements on the mods pages.
Varichi
That sounds like a missing master or corrupt .bsa or other base game file file. Verifying your cache like Kroekr said should take care of the second cause. The former will require you to look through your load order for missing dependencies. Tools like LOOT, NMM, or Wrye Bash should display files with missing masters, and there are plenty of others that do so as well. You could try loading your load order in TES5Edit and seeing if it loads. If it crashes before loading up, it'll give you an error message in the background loader pane that will let you pinpoint which .esp is causing the crash. This doesn't work for ingame crashes, but if your game won't even load, this might help.
