Now, we all know that Todd lied a lot about Skyrim, but I remember he promised that each town and city will have its own economy. For example, chopping wood or selling stuff to the shops will have an effect on the economy. I heard that some cities will have cheaper goods than others, and selling stuff (weapons, armor, misc, food) will make the town have more of it, making it cheaper. Is that true? I have over 90-100 hours on Skyrim and I do not see it taking place.

I don't think it's in the game, sadly.

 

And I'd like to remind people that Todd wasn't lying, and that he isn't the only one that was working on Skyrim.

We don't know why this stuff isn't in the game and we don't know what problems they had during development.

He did mention localized economies and i havnt seen any sign of them yet, i thought i could get a job as a woodcutter then use the mill to boost the town spending coffers, or on the other hand sabotage them to make it bankrupt. Somebody asked about the latter and Todd moved away from it as i recall.

I think they do, dragon scales and bones are dropping in price when at first they sold for quite a bit for me.

We don't know why this stuff isn't in the game and we don't know what problems they had during development.

 

 

A safe bet would be time and/or monetary constraints.

 

I don't mind as much the things being left out completely, but the things started and obviously not really finished. Such as marriage or the companion system.
