LieutenantHawk
Being an Argonian in Skyrim is pretty difficult. All of the best bits of headgear in the game are close helms, and none of them are shaped right to fit my reptilian head! How do they expect me to cram my lizard-snout inside those cramped tin cans? Anyway, I have an idea for a MOD, but I won't be able to make it because I don't know how to really make or alter meshes. The MOD would be this: a set of all of the face-hiding helms in the game altered to look more fitting for an Argonian or Khajiit. They could be sold at a shop somewhere instead of replacing the helms in-game, so all of the humans and elves don't have to wear the specialized ones. I think it's a good idea, but like I said, I don't know how to do it myself. If anyone is willing to do this for me and all the other players who have a beast character, it would be greatly appreciated!
Ghogiel
There are beast versions of the helmets already. You wouldn't have to add them as separate helmets, you could just add them to the helmets CK entry. There seems to be mesh inputs for male, female, orc, argon, and khajiit for each helmet entry... LieutenantHawk
Hm? I haven't heard that before. Where exactly are they? Are they with the other helms in the game's data? I haven't unpacked the BSAs yet, so I wouldn't know. And are you sure there are beast versions of the helms I refer to, the ones that hide the player's entire head? I know there are beast versions of the open helms already. Edited December 30, 2011 by LieutenantHawk
LukeSkyrimmer
This should have been in the game in the first place. Another lazy oversight, but ah well. Someone will mod them in.

Hopefully. If anything I'll have to teach myself how to alter the meshes, but that's not guaranteeing anything at all. I mean, would it really be that complicated to extend the front part of the helm? I suppose it could be on the Dwarven helm, since it's got that face on it, but it could just be made more like the one in Oblivion. It would be best to leave this to a more experienced mesh modder, I guess.
