Pixeldust
Problem: I have a weird clear box in the upper left hand corner, it's not noticeable usually until I see grass within it, as the grass will turn to a different shade in the box and it's really immersion breaking. This issue shows up both using reshade or just with vanilla SE Skyrim. Things I've tried: I've tried disabling display scaling on high DPI settings, running as admin, launching the game in offline mode, disabling all my mods, I even tried running it in windowed mode. As well as not using reshade. I have no idea what's causing this issue and I've tried googling it but not with much success, only seen one or two people with even close to a similar issue. Specs: I'm on Windows 10, using a Titan X, i7-5960X CPU, 32 Gigs of ram, Alienware desktop. (Had to make the image pretty small to fit within the file size limit, now the image looks pretty bad but you can still see the issue, ugh.) vegeirsheim
Ah, I'm having the same exact problem, it only occurs when i look at grass as well. I'm using Verdant grass with the flora overhaul, and Rudy Enb with no reshade. Did you ever figure out what happened? Specs: OS: Windows 7, GPU: Gtx 1080 SLI, CPU: I7 3770k, 32gb Ram. vegeirsheim
What fixed it for me was changing iShadowMaskQuarter (In Skyrimprefs.ini) from 1 back to the default 4. It's an odd one since it only seems to occur when you look at grass. While making edits to the ini's I didn't notice it as I was mostly in towns. I hope this works for anyone else who comes across this.
Pixeldust
Omg, thank you so much for the fix, vegeirsheim. Since having played the original Skyrim I'd always tinker with the shadows to turn them off completely as they effect performance for me, this issue didn't happen in original Skyrim so I never would of guessed that to be the fix, it works, THANK YOU! (I didn't expect anyone to reply to this topic, so I just now got this, going to give you a kudos.)
