Any recommended quest mods \ gameplay overhauls \ game changing mods?

hey folks

 

I've been following the FO4 modding scene for quite some time, and played the game several times

I can't say i love the game, but i definitely not hating it, but i am looking for some amazing mods that will give me a brand new experience

I'm not rushing into a new playthrough, and don't mind waiting on any interesting projects, if any exist

 

basically, I'm hoping to hear from people here about any interesting mods that changed your FO4 experience for the better, by making the game more interesting, or the gameplay more involving\enjoyable\fun

any and all recommendations are welcome, though i would really appreciate some reasoning behind such recommendation

also, if you know of any promising project in the works, and you think it's worth keeping an eye on, i would also love to hear about it

 

hope to hear some interesting arguments, and find enough mods to keep this game alive for at least one more go

It's a very cool mod, with a emphasis on balance throughout, especially the mid and end game.

okay, that was one hell of a mod list

 

to narrow it down a bit, i'm specifically interested in either quest mods, perk overhauls, gameplay overhauls, or such mods

mods that either add more of the game to play, or change how the game is played

 

esthetic mods, settler mods or companion mods aren't really what i'm searching for (unless it's really adding something great, like a great companion with an interesting quest to play)

 

it's all about trying to get one more good experience of the game, and the more different it could be, the better

So far Ellen is the most fleshed out companion in terms of quest. It's no Vilja in Skyrim or Willow in New Vegas but it's close. As far as customizable, Wintermute is the best companion.

Fusion City Rising (I don't know how to classify this but I'd have to play it more)

Atomic Radio and Tales from the Commonwealth (adds a lot of smaller quests and locations)

Prelude to Vault 273

I know of a few of the mods, and actually played with some of them, but there are plenty I've never tried

Survival Options is a good one, allowing you to customise survival mode. Tweak damage, remove sleep time limits on sleeping bags, remove over-encumbered damage, remove limb regeneration, etc etc.

 

Improved Locational Damage might also be of interest in terms of changing gameplay - although I haven't tried it.
