Wierd lag issue

I got wierd performance issue, it drops significatly low in very lighted areas, for example room with lots of candles - ESP if i get too close, closer i get to light or fire, lower FPS.

Example: Temple of Talos in Windhelm, When i enter room its 60 FPS, when i get close to altar with candles 30 FPS...

I got latest Nvidia drivers, DX update, my pc is free from viruses, latest patch, defragmented , cleaned up disk.

4gb Ram

Quad core Nvidia gts 250 1 GB

Windows 7 64bi

Btw im using latest FFXA injector mod 2.0 with max sharpening power and runing with 1600x1200 resolution. I noticted only 2-3 fps increase when lowering res.

U got any tips, why is my pc so sensitive when i get too close to light and candles, -30 FPS lost is huge...

Anywhere else is world is solid, even in forested areas...

P.S. AA is off and shadow detail is set to low.

It's normal the FPS drop in these cases, both by the light sources themselves as by the shadows generated... still, that huge FPS drop, nominally half the monitor's refresh rate seems to point the real culprit is Vsynch is active.

Vsynch is reported to introduce major mouse/keyboard lag in Skyrim and you may want to disable it. To do so, open Skyrim.ini found inside the \Documents\My Games\Skyrim and include the following line under the "[Display]" section

iPresentInterval=0

or make sure the value is 0 if the line already exist.

It is possible it is nothing other than the new 1.3 patch. The new patch made the game so laggy it is unplayable. If Bethseda does not fix this I will not buy another one of their games. I do not understand why it is playable for some and not others, I do know that it is extreme lag even on high end systems. Also the game ran fine before this patch. Does Bethseda even test their patches?
