gigantibyte
All I want to do is move the training limit per level from 5 to something greater... Shouldn't this be in mod requests? But yeah, it makes no sense that a trainer cannot train you up to their own level. A good teacher could even coach their pupils to exceed past what they know themselves. BUT there are books out there that the best trainers in the field should give you a quest to find. I agree, abolish the 5 per level cap, if you have the money you should be allowed to learn, obviously the higher the level the more gold you'd need which makes it harder in certain circumstances. But again, there should be quests to find these rare skillbooks when you are equal to the level of skyrim's best teachers.
bpestilence
There have always been training limits. The idea is that you can only absorb so much knowledge at once. Also, since training also raises your level, you can already gain levels too easily if you have the coin. Even easier if your trainer happens to be your follower so that you train for free. Korodic
eh, you're the dragon born, you learn a word of power from reading it on the wall. :P I think you can handle learning as much as you can pay for.
nosisab
Agreed with being awkward having to hurry after a trainer "before" leveling again under the pain or losing the opportunity forever, a more consistent (yet maybe making leveling too ease) would be limiting the amount of training by level instead by session/thislevel. On the other hand, leveling is so easy in Skyrim that does not even makes much for needing trainers (at least not before achieving at least expert level at the skill). gigantibyte
When I first saw there were trainers in the game, I thought great, I'll save them for the last 5 levels. I figured the last 5 would be the hardest to achieve, but that was before I knew anything about the game mechanics. Case in point, one must craft exactly the same amount of daggers to go from level 21 to level 22 in Smithing, as it does to go from 50 to 51. Really? This is the great system so many are praising? Imo it's completely illogical.
rpger30
I've been thinking that it should be like 3 skill levels per trainer per level, with up to 5 trainers per level. This would make it better for raising "secondary" skills, which is what most people want it for anyway. It gets hard to field-train a high level mage in warrior skills that he's been neglecting for over 40 levels.
