Ethreon
You don't need pics of radiation barrels, they exist already in game. You probably have to either create or assign an existing radiation hazard effect to a constructible one (I have to look into that as I'm interested too). The church models/images/drawings whatever remains though - I need to see what you want to make it.
tarsis31
Possibly have a couple varieties? One linked to deadly radiation, one to strong, one to weak type of thing?
genolune
I'll try to get some type of pictures. I'm thinking it'll look like a yurt made from scrap metal with a if you know what a Yurt is, if not: Google Image search for Yurt The closest thing I can think of to it in game would be the Boston Commons pavilion but that is stone and has columns, which sort of goes against the raggedy nature of the Children of Atom. As for earlier in the thread, Super Mutants have no place in the Children of Atom from everything I've seen and read throughout the games, mostly because Super Mutants tend to be the enemy. Ghouls are only in as an afterthought, from the sect in Fallout 3 because one of them was the Mother's son and in Fallout 4 because they were using it like as a light source to draw in other Children of the Atom. So sadly, it's mostly a human only thing.
MaesterAelix
What about the Charles View Amphitheatre? Ya know, where the Pillars of the Community hang out? What about a scaled down version of that?
genolune
You mean like this? This is original size in the Creation Kit, by the way. I haven't scaled it up or down. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v724/genolune/Ampitheater%201.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v724/genolune/Amphitheater%202.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v724/genolune/Amphitheater%203.jpg
MaesterAelix
That's the place. How well do you feel it is, for the scale of things? Its probably a bit too big - but its still a great place for CoA to talk up the glory of Atoms glow.
genolune
I actually thought it was a bit small. However, the foundation and walls are really thick which make it take up more space. However, it did work the way I thought. Now I'm wondering if something similar can be done with the vanilla metal pieces since I know they have curved bits. That way you get a shorter more compact space. How do you think it looks?
MaesterAelix
As a starting point, it looks good. If its gunna get CoA'd up ... could be a little more beat up. Thin up the foundation and walls like ya want... Add in Atom's symbols and some glow - perhaps a sickly yellow/green or orange way in the back? Otherwise - it works great, for what it is =D
Flowerguy360
I love the look of it from the outset, but really it doesn't fit as a post-war structure at the bottom of a crater. :/ I would suggest taking the half-cylinder metal structure, as depicted in my location suggestion above, and scaling it up in Blender. That should serve very much the same purpose. Remove some vertices and put something from like the raider tent meshes where the holes are. Add some bleachers out front and a church pulpit. Voila! If you can create a local radstorm fog for all of the settlements to go along with the other CoA accoutrements, you'd really be in business. MaesterAelix
Oh! OH OH!!!How about some crashed plane parts? Say they dragged some hull to make their amphitheater? I am sure that the crashed plane bits are floating around there somewhere.
