Ayanro
Just recently saw Rogue One, and I wanted to do a playthrough as Darth Vader. I already have a lightsaber mod and an armor mod, but I was wondering if there was a way to have the iconic breathing sound loop when I put on the helmet. Thank you. Ayanro
Yeah, if you don't mind telling me. LOL. Especially if I can get it done that quickly.
Mktavish
Well first you want to capture your sound sample ... like a 5-10 second clip of darth vader breathing. Then you will want to unpack the sound asset archive ... just so you can get a look at the raw sound files and notice their formatting. But it helps if first finding a sound in game/geck that you think closely matches what you want to add which you will then just duplicate. So then that is what you look for when you unpack it. Then convert your file to its format and other specifics. Now place your file in a loose folder matching the folder structure, and in geck find it as the sound to add on your duplicated geck base-ID. Then on the "Animation Sound Enums" of the helmet may work to add that as your Tes sound. But a for sure method would be to make a base effect "script archetype" and make a script with "begin scripteffectstart" "Playsound" As an object effect that you put on the helmet. And probably put a timer coinciding with the length of the sound to make it keep repeating. Err wait that would be a gamemode block to keep repeating. Ok .... sorry ... its not so easy ... atleast from my limited experience. I would guess if you can get it running off of the armour item sound insertion.... would be best. I'll run some testing on it for a best method if you need me to ... just to say sorry for giving a dickish response  Edited December 22, 2016 by Mktavish
Ayanro
Thank you for the response. When I have the time, I'll try this out. I look forward to hearing about what you discovered. I appreciate your apology, but don't worry about it. :)
