JanusForbeare
Go to Solitude. Bring a bow. Look up. Kill hawks.
jarmbur
The game should have some songbirds and robins flying around, ducks, maybe geese
Rabbit1251
Well, they have pheasants, but they don't fly much. Rabbit
WatchTheShow
There are hawks that fly around. There's plenty of them in Solitude, and a few by Froki's shack. There's also a hawk that lands in his/her nest by Peryite's Shrine. There are pheasants as well, but they're all dead. In one quest line, you see crows. Other than that, that's pretty much all the birds.
JMMcNemo
Hey, that's right... there's LOTS of pheasants, but ALL of them are dead. How does that work, exactly?
georgiel
Hey, that's right... there's LOTS of pheasants, but ALL of them are dead. How does that work, exactly?Imported from warmer climes I'd expect. Not exactly a frozen climate bird, more temperate to mild.

havefunwilltravel
Also when you exit Riverwood towards Whiterun, a flock of birds fly overhead. Dont know what type, though. UPDATE. I froze the screen this time and got a pretty good. They looked like redwing blackbirds. Edited January 9, 2012 by havefunwilltravel
