ElijahHouck Posted August 26, 2013 Share Posted August 26, 2013 If you start a new game, you are given a choice to start in the world of your choosing. If you start in Skyrim, after the introduction (i.e. the Unbound quest), you receive a "Travel to Ethas" spell that is active while in Skyrim. If you use this spell, you will begin Ethas at it's introductory quest. After you finish the introduction of Ethas, you will receive a "travel to Skyrim" spell that is active while in Ethas. If you travel to Skyrim while in Ethas, you return to where you last left Skyrim. If you were outside of Bleak Falls Barrow, you'd be whisked back to that spot. The same holds true to when you travel back to Ethas. The spells have the same conditions as Fast Travel - if you are currently in combat, falling, in an interior, or fast travel has been disabled by a script, then you cannot travel back and forth. This helps alleviate any problems that may come up, like dying as soon as you travel back to one of the worlds or screwing up a scene. The same is true if you start a new game in Ethas, with a one differences. You go through the character creation process in Ethas rather than Skyrim, so when exiting the cart after traveling to Skyrim for the first time, it will skip the character creation menu. We debated having your Ethas and Skyrim items remain separate, but like you said, nobody wants to find a great weapon or armor set, only to find that it can't be used in the other world. ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Will you be able to bring more than one companion at a time unlike vanilla Skyrim? And can I use AFT (amazing follower tweaks) in Ethas and bring companions from Skyrim to Ethas?
