Nalim666 Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) I am much more comfortable with the blender interface and tools than the 3d studio ones and I greatly prefer it for creating uv's and fine tuning my meshes. However I cant seem to manage to get weights transported between the programs and I dont know how to export skin weights for skyrim from blender. I preferably want to be able to move skeleton+uv+weights+mesh in the same file. I realize this is a noobish question but I've got very limited experience with 3d applications. Any suggestions? In oblivion I think you parented the object to the skelton, selected the object and hit weight paint, then edited the weight from there on. However, things might be diffrent in skyrim.
