Arthmoor
For those who cannot run the se creationkit these do all the same job in sseedit that creationkit does. No, this cannot be used as a substitute for the problem. The mods must be loaded into the SSE CK and saved there. Simply changing form numbers is not enough and will continue to produce problem files that then become impossible to diagnose properly. But it also shouldn't be up to the people using the mods to fix it. If you're going to release a mod, at least do what you can to ensure that it's functional, and for SSE that also means form 44. Exactly. Anyone porting a mod over, or a mod author doing it themselves, should be following proper procedure and resaving in the SSE CK. It is the only guaranteed way this will get solved. Even if this turns out not to be the cause of the problem this thread is about, it's going to eliminate the cause of a very similar type of corruption from the game, and given the number of people already saying this is solving the problem, it may well turn out to be the only reason this thread even exists. waylander47
The only reason I haven't installed any audio mods is because I am waiting on AO2 to be updated. Then I will try them out. Since I have a beautiful stable game, I am going to add one mod at a time, and see if the issue arises. I do have 3 form 43 esps in my load order. But I cant get them to save in the CK. So I will have to deal with it. But don't forget to ESMify your masters when you save them in CK and then espify them back!!! otherwise you get a boat load of errors. Khumak
I can open the SE CK fine and load a mod into it as well. The problem is trying to save or generate anything with it, or even just trying to exit. All of those just crash. I have no issues running the actual game, I have a heavily modded game with over 1000 hours played and zero crashes.
Gothpunk4Christ
khumak, you're not the only one. Fortunately enough for me, I can actually make changes (usually) and save (most of the time).

walshy71
Regarding this Form 44 I meticulously went through every mod I have in SSEEdit, checking each mod in my load order, that I had downloaded from the Special Edition Nexus and there are mods that I had downloaded that I had assumed the uploader had converted. Turns out they hadn't been re-saved in the Creation Kit, namely Folkstead and the Border of Hammerfell, Epoch Weapon Pack, Skyrim Immersive Puddles, Adventurers Armour Mashup, Dragon Carved Armour Set, Deer Axe 2 Handed version and the Better Vampires-Sacrosanct patch (which I downloaded from the mods page, they'd taken the time to convert the main mod, Better Vampires, but not the patch :ermm:  )! So I have converted these myself but I fear the damage has been already to this save file as I sure the corruption will persist. I will keep you all updated if this has sorted the issue but as everyone who has posted in thread has reported the same issue appearing for different reasons we still can't pin down a single root cause as to what's causing this for all of us ... Also nice to see Big mod authours, hey Arthmoor, having a peep at our wee thread, good to know we aren't being ignored! Edited October 30, 2017 by walshy71
Gothpunk4Christ
One thing I failed to consider in my testing of the no form 44, was I can't recall having started a NEW game with it. I may very well have and don't remember, but it's blurry since a couple weeks out. Good news is, I started a new game and (time permitting) will be able to test a little bit more at least. Good to have Waylander, interesting development on my end, I would definitely corrupt after doing crafting; smithing, enchanting and leatherwork, if I pissed about too much in a menu well I don't get a corruption now anymore as long as I stay in the the same cell. As soon as I change cells, either move over a cell border or go through a door and go to save that's now when I'm getting a corruption ...
