NewtC
I think I'll let Bob handle this one. (Hi, I'm Bob, Talon of the Night. I was created when Newt went mad. I subsequently tried to take over the world with vacuum cleaners, so Newt locked me inside parenthesese for eternity. The only way I can speak is through this forum, which is, by the way, the best forum ever made. Any way, welcome to The Nexus Forums. ) Yes.....Like he said, I'm slightly crazy. I've been trying to get rid of him for a while, but he just keeps comeing back. Anyway Welcome to the Forums

I advise a regimen of sleeping upside down, 3 nights a week & spending some quality time getting in touch with your other side. I'm sure Bob has so much to give, if only you allow him to. Anyways, thanks for the welcome Bob, NewtC or whoever the hell i'm talking to when you both read this. :thanks: -MRG

NewtC
Tell the truth, Bob's okay he never actually tried to murder me, but he's still annoying sometimes.
ninja_lord666
Tell the truth, Bob's okay he never actually tried to murder me, but he's still annoying sometimes.I don't like people who feint madness. Are you feinting madness? ARE YOU!? I'd better not catch you feinting madness, or you'll get it. By Thor's bristly beard, you'll get it...On that note, true madness is acceptable, and true madness is me. You other folk, you sane people...you need curing, curing I say! Soon the Popsicle-Headed Dragons from Gumdrop Island will come and cure the world from their madness or kill the ones who refuse! Then the Irish-Jamaican Necromancers from the North Pole will come and resurrect an army of Grammar Nazis to 'teach' people how to spell, punctuate, and use proper sentence structure. The dawn of a new age it coming! The rebirth is nigh!

I have lived in or Traveled to, the following Countries. All non-Military: 1) USA (Where I live now) Have lived in several different states.2) Canada - Whistler B.C. During the winter, my school class had Skiing as a subject. I kid you not.3) New Zealand - Lived on the south island just north of Christchurch, outside a small town called Amberley. I lived in Amberley Beach. 4) Australia - Family in Canberra.5) Oahu & Maui - Family there as well in the military. Got a special tour of Pearl Harbor. Some buildings still have/had bullet holes. For 5 minutes I had my hands on the wall with my eyes closed. Very moving.6) Fiji - WONDERFUL people. Of course, this was before everyone began to hate Americans. 7) Tahiti - A real tropical paradise, once you left Papetti. That city was absolutely filthy. I'm talking like a foot of trash covering the ground.8) Moreia - An island off the coast of Tahiti. O.M.F.G beautiful! The site to the pictures are below. I'm warning you, I looked like a dweeb back then, so don't laugh. My section is near the bottom under "Jeff's Page", with other pics scattered all over the site. Too bad my dad & I don't see eye to eye & haven't for over a decade. I truly think he has that section of me, not as a means to show others what I have done, but to show others what he has done FOR me. A way of bragging. I would give up all my memories, just to have a dad that accepted me for who I am. Sadly I don't think he ever will. For that, I have a 14 year old sister that I love & I think loves me, but I only talk to her once in a very great while. I do love my dad though & my step-mum is wonderful. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the pics. http://www.adventureboss.com/ Edit: On a total random tangent, in the pic of me with the other students around the computer, the guy right in front of me, Morgan Roberts, was the fastest typer I have ever seen. Could type in excess of over 125 WPM. I can't even think of 125 words in a minute, let alone type that fast...-MRG
Chesto
MRG... having never even 'talked-back' to my old man, I took a swing at him when I was 16. Which was NOT a bright thing to do as he had been a boxing champ in his reg't in WW2, and was still fit. And still angry. After that...nothing until I read about his death while researching his old reg't for something entirely unrelated.Point being... I hope that, unless it's something REALLY heavy between you, you can reach some kind of communication with him. Otherwise it will live in your gut for the rest of your life.Or, you can just tell me to mind my own ****ing business.

Oh you can bet there were times I wanted to raise my fists to my dad, but back then, he would have beat the living crap outta me. Now, i'm worried that the bones I broke would make him lame for life. If I read your post correctly, i'm sorry that you found out about your dads death in that manner. To not have known & then to find out in that way. -MRG
Chesto
Cheers for that, mate. No worries. I was old enough that when I found out it just felt like a final full stop on that particular bit of my history. But one always wonders ' what if?'.
