[WIPz] Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64)

This is just sad.. Everyone has been waiting since the release of SSE for the script extender and now months after its initial announcement it seems it probably will not happen in the next half year or so.. This unfortunately means that SSE is only interesting for the console users and not really for the PC users because the main reason gamers have the PC version is very likely the script extender. Though I understand the situation of the original developers a lot I wish that they would have done the call for help months ago. Hoping for a good ending and a good SKSE64 after I did a replay of Enderal.

Best of luck to the SKSE64 developers and the people who are trying to support them

If the criminal scum of STEAM and Bug-infesta have shot down skse64, purhaps one of the script team should come out with a once-and-for-all official announcement so that the players can finally move on.

This is not good news, Im still waiting for skse64 to play this game for the first time and now it is not sure it ever going to be one...anyway I really hope i will come out sooner than later.

Any chance this can be push forward with donations to motivate the skse64 team? Im willing to help out with 50 USD. Anyone else?

Sorry Tar, it has been said in this ridiculous topic that the programmer team for the ill-fated SKSE64 can not accept doh-ray-me for any work that they do.

I hate to admit it but I've been enjoying this long-winded discussion about whether or not the SKSE64 is dead and buried.

MOST of this probably could have been avoided if one of the team members would post a sentence every OTHER week about their progress.

Please don't tell me that that is asking too much, after all, I've just typed 3 sentences in a matter of a minute - ok - ok - 2 minutes!

Its a damn good thing I decided to stop waiting for what may never appear and gone back to OLDrim!

Good luck to those who would rather wait!

Well the mods that -are available to us here are ok and some a bit more than that. A lot of the one's I really like are not. But, so far after selecting 20 or so to start and finding that they do work fine gets me almost there. Another run through oldrim with all the good stuff added or through the new with a few things added and the better effects and visuals, and from what i have read maybe a couple surprises....Maybe I could just look at it like a purist going au natural trimming the fat and going for the grit. Been playing an hour and a half into it now and have to say it's good. Having a good rig helps as it's more system heavy than oldrim. So far a pair of 660's runs it flat out at 60fps except for some of the open populated areas down in the high 40's. All I can ask I suppose right now is for those who wrote mods for oldy to please convert!
