xenxander
I am getting an occupation for my time. Jojo man is similar to myself – I have a 3rd shift security desk job and I have nothing to do other than make a log entry every so often and watch cameras of empty spaces. I visit and read for entertainment. I veer less towards the Oblivion board and more so to the general topics board, as I really have put Oblivion on the back burner lately in exchange for more simple but challenging games, such as “Onslaught” or “Astral Defense Tower” <~ which has me wearing my buttocks like a hat after the 200th wave, as well as “Odin Sphere” and some other more dated games. I pray this changes soon (when my application for the University is approved).
ninja_lord666
And am pleasantly surprised when one or more of them confound my 'expectations' of how they are going to repond to some thread or other.I do so try to stay original. "What are you getting out of doing by being 'here"? I honestly have no idea...I have no idea what you're asking. The grammar is just...incomprehensible. I keep rereading it, but nothing. Are you using an adverb as a noun!? I don't even know! No matter how much I dissect it, no matter how many ways I turn it, no matter what I do, it's just gibberish!Um...no offense to you, or anything... :whistling: From context clues (I mean clues from other posters :P ), I have deciphered that this is essentially a thread asking, "Why are you here?" That in mind, I first came for the mods. Then Oblivion dried up into a shrunken prune. Later, I found the forum. I decided to check it out, and I've been here ever since. On the surface, I'm here because I'm bored, but if you scrape away the surface leaving my fragile unprotected organs exposed to the harsh elements...well...I...I'd die, but that's not the point. There is a plethora of denial and escaping just ripe for the psychological picking. I do not wish to go into detail, but this forum is pretty much a substitute for all the attention and socialising I'm not getting in real life. Oh I have friends, and we do stuff, but it's pretty superficial. In the end, they'll die like all the others when my Crusade of Madness leaves the world awash in fresh blood and candy canes! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Err...um...you didn't hear that...I...uh...I...*puts on sunglasses, pulls out vaguely pen-like thing, and pushes a button. A sharp flash is emitted and you don't remember anything of what's just transpired.*
Chesto
Get out of? Writing my fantasy novel (I can only do this at antisocial hours), learning my lines for plays, trying to organise my new acting group (which has me tearing out my hair and I'd rather not be bald), updating my CD list. Surprisingly I enjoy doing most of the above but in short bursts; so coming onto the forum is like a break. One thing I don't use it for is to escape what I don't like doing. I prefer to get that all out of the way as quickly as possible. But then there is no one to nag me but myself. Malchik... you believe that you're writing a novel, when you're not, actually... or you are writing a novel with a fantasy theme ? 'smirks in a fellow sufferer sort of way'. Bet you had a real break chasing the sheep the other day! Should have lent you my dog who, other than being part border collie, is mad , and would have been waiting for Baah when he showed up to spam on the next thread.Your last sentence almost broke my heart. I thought I should stay 'on' all night just to keep you company. But... my wife wanted to watch a French film, and not alone... and ... well, sorry Mal, she frightens me... I couldn't say no. Sorry. Chesto
Xen... I hope you get your uni place, but also hope that you don't stop posting here. ( has to stop...overcome with emotion) ninja...you're right about the 'title', even though it made sense to me at the time, ...and to someone from Russia... and, apparently, everyone else. If I re-read it a number of times, it makes less and less sense. But then, doing that with the Gettysburg Address has the same effect on me. But you soldiered on, overcame the almost insurmountable difficulty that I placed in your way, and posted. That's the main thing. Thanks.
TheTerminator2004
I post here simply because IRL I only know one person who plays games on a really regular basis, and he's a PS3 fan. So I come here instead, where pretty much everyone is a PC gamer. :) I used to be here for the mods as well, but Oblivion has really lost its appeal for me now, so I just dont bother with it anymore. TheTerminator2004
Rugby? Nah, I'm not really into sports... though it was nice to see Wales get the grand slam again :) Not sure why I'm especially pleased, as I dont particularly like living in Wales, when I'm older I'm planning to move to England. Or maybe even America... one of the two.
Landsknecht
Most of the time I post and read here is just for fun and because I went through the threads I wanted to in the other forums. I post rather than game because I have to save something to do during class...I mean when I'm bored. I am currently going through this forum to postpone studying for my econometrics final. You'll find out how Welsh you are when you do leave the country. And the farther away you go , the more you'll feel it. Or, maybe not. Lands...econometrics, hey? .... .... .... .... Good luck on yer final! ( i'm sure no one noticed me scooching rapidly away from the 'e' word)
NewtC
I just like it here. It allows me to converse with people far away without static on the line. I also get the opportunity to find out things I didn't know before. Mainly I just come here because of the great conversations and to feed Bob. ( Let me out! And don't hit me with another 2x4. ) Excuse me. <clunk> Anyway, I also like to meet some of the new members.
