Building new comp

Recommended Posts

Well seems my comp is getting old. Runs skyrim on high sr3 maxed but need to start getting upgraded for future. So I have been doing little bit research and came up with this System.

Case Coolmaster Hafx

HDD-scsi or ssd haven't compaired that much

MOBO asus P9X79 Deluxe

Cpu core i7-3930k

Vid 2X geforce GTX 590

Ram DDR3 2400 8xDIMM lowest 8 gigs dont know what brand(has to be compatible with mobo, vid and cpu)

OS-win7 64bit

power supply Antec HPC 1200

any suggestions would help where the bottle necks ect.

counter productive comments I'll ignore.

thanks

pretty much your just dumping money into this and you wont have any bottlenecks and wont have any problem running any games. however, my opinion....wait.

with Ivy Bridge coming out right shorty, it will probably be better then the SB-E CPU you have picked out.....and if your going to wait for the Ivy Bridge to come out, either get a Z68 mobo, or wait for a chipset to come out with the Ivy Bridge.

also, 2 590s. no need. one 590 would really be sufficient, you wont really see a big improvement from one to two. however the 600/7000 series is also coming out right shortly, and it might benefit you to wait for those to come out.

as for HDD. you want both an HDD and an SSD. not one or the other.

and any RAM will work. doesnt matter. its all the same.
