Comment thread on mod pages

I'm doing the rounds of some of my mods on games that I'm currently playing and, noticed one file had it's comments locked by a moderator, it said. There were never any comments on it, anyway. Too bad if I wanted to add a sticky post because I don't have the ability to be able to unlock the comments for some unknown reason. My suggestion - The mod author should always be able to lock and unlock their own comment pages . I never got a PM saying why, either. I don't know how long ago it happened I only saw it today. Now I'm checking all my files to see if any more were locked without me being notified

Also, that little link that says "go to forum thread" when I go there the description for my mod says something that I didn't even write. I thought it was supposed to be the same as when we first uploaded the file.

I fixed it myself in a way. Going into edit mode. Instead of the original "A single comment topic and no discussion tab" I switched it to "A single comment topic and a discussions tab," that's given me access to my own comment section again. If I switch it back to the first one it's all locked up

Hi there,

Please link the file where this is happening.

There's a very rare bug that doesn't unlock your thread when you publish your file. It's likely that, rather than anything a moderator has done.

Sorry about that.

Ah okay. I've just come across another one.

With my first one I now just switched the commenting back to "A single comment topic and no discussion tab" and it magically fixed itself. So, now I just did the same to the second one and it's also fixed up.

That's okay, then. I was worried for a minute there :)

It's all good, now. But, thanks for the explanation of why it locked in the first place :)
