The typical money grabs:

Knee armour.

Player home for magic types.

Player home for fighting types.

Player home for sneaky types.

The middle of the road:

Cyrodillic goblin invasion - you must defeat the invading goblin hordes and protect the reconstruction of Helgen.

Mudcrab uprising - Just when you thought the civil strife was over..

Anduin Jr. - "My name is Anduin Jr. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

The single big one:

The vigilant of Stendarr begin their mission to eradicate all daedra worshipers and shrines in Skyrim and you're summoned to a meeting of all the daedric princes in Oblivion to serve as their champion. There will be cake.

I almost posted "what if the Daedra were to invade Skyrim? That'd be a cool..." then I remember a little title named Oblivion and stopped myself.

Off to get more coffee.

Well this is kind of the opposite. The vigilant of Stendarr want to eradicate all trace of Daedra from Tamriel in the name of an Aedra so you'd be fighting for the Daedra against an Aedra, or his followers. In Oblivion you were fighting on the side of an Aedra against a Daedra prince.

Have you been talking to Skibblets? Cause this came up while he and i were talking about something totally unrelated.

Nope, I just thought of it then.

Something involving the Falmer seems probable. Perhaps finding an enclave of unpoisoned Falmer and having to help them try to save their race etc..

The player homes will probly be released, not that there would be a point on the pc, but other platforms it makes sense. Pc we get the CS or CK so a player home would be pointless really all the ones in oblivion i made a better one myself, despite making the mistake of buying the beth ones.

I would love to see a dwemer return would be a cool thing to happen and a dramatic change of pace, lets face it cave crawlin is and was never as harsh as dwemer ruin crawlin. They could have tech way more advanced than steam ect, muskets or flint locks or even mage fire weapons. They could be "WERE BACK AND PI**ED OFF" big war your the saviour end.

The thalmor i think are going to be the big one, they invade or breach ther epeace treaty.....which i guess invading would do, the powers that be demand an end to the war between the stormcloacks/imperial army and to join force's to destroy the Thalmor.

But bethesda may go a mental direction and do something unexpected.

I suspect that the Thalmor stuff will likely be a full blown expansion featuring the Summerset Isles and/or Arteum. It would follow on from the Civil War questline much like Tribunal did with Morrowinds main quest. If that's the case then its name would probably be Elder Scrolls V: Dominion

I'm surprised how many people voted for "the return of the Dwemer". Personally, I don't think Beth will ever bring the Dwemer back (as a race, though you may encounter individuals, as in Morrowind). They - and the toys they left behind - are too useful as a plot device. Bringing them back means explaining countless plot holes, dealing with the fact that the Dwemer are massively overpowering on the technological and (presumably) geopolitical scales, and ignoring other (unfinished) plotlines in favour of introducing something entirely new.

I voted for the Thalmor war. It's pretty much inevitable.

+1 for the Thalmor war as well. Would also like to see a guild expansion pack that continues the guild quest lines as they didn't fell quite full. Mainly I would like a mission for the dark brotherhood like the one from oblivion where you have to kill the guests in the house one by one. That was fun.
