Dezenzerrick
Hello all,Before I go off and upload a mod I've been working on, I thought I'd check here.I'm upscaling the Dragon Alphabet (the letters you see on the word walls and when the greybeards shout at the floor) from 1k to 4k. My question is, would I be able to safely upload this file? I haven't re-created the textures, I simply scaled up the resolution of the diffuse and normal maps. DoctorKaizeld
sure. why wouldnt it be safe?
Dezenzerrick
It's not in violation of any copyright? I mean it's still Bethesda textures Edited January 6, 2017 by Dezenzerrick
ishmaeltheforsaken
If we couldn't upload edited versions of vanilla assets, almost no mod would be possible. Bethesda have said that as long as you're uploading Skyrim stuff for Skyrim and not porting between games, it's fine.
DoctorKaizeld
also as long as you dont upload the assets themselves. the replacements are fine though
