Touh87
Hello. :) I'm new to the forum and I have a question. I am a console player and I'm interested in a lot of mods. So I ask has their creator if they could wear their mods or give permission. But some I we answered no. No other reason. If he should donate his bother me. All merit pay work. But 1, make a donation on the Nexus will give me no reasons if the mod will wear. And 2 because the Nexus is for the Pc. My gift will be understood as if I was a Pc player. So my money will improve the mods for Pc gamers while I play on Xbox one. That is, please enlighten me :)
TheProfessi0nal
It's a lot of work to get mods validated on PS4 and Xbone. Modders don't get anywhere near the amount of money for modding they would need to to make it worthwhile.
iXenite
If a Mod Author is not interested in sharing their mods on consoles or other sites in general, then that should be respected. Mod Authors are not obligated to make things or port stuff over. As for donations, they are strictly voluntary and are not required. If a Mod Author personally messaged you about donations in exchange for modding services then they have violated this sites Terms of Service and that incident should reported to an Admin. However, the pop-up that comes with certain mods or sometimes on a Mod Authors profile about donations is fine and is the only officially supported donation method here on the Nexus. I should also point out that the Nexus is a PC oriented website, Bethesda.net is the site that caters to console modding.

Donating does not necessarily denote merit in the quality of mod...only the user's gratitude for creating the mod. Not all mods can be used across all platforms. There are and will be more mods that you just cannot use on XBOX or PS that you can use on PC... Donations do not imply that an author is obliged to develop mods for any platform. It is a Donation, not a fee. Good luck, and happy gaming! :)
