Maphisto86
Hello. I used to haunt Filefront back in the day when I had a decent PC for gaming. Stuck with consoles for awhile but decided to build my own PC for once. Currently saving for that and figuring out my build but in the meantime, I can play some of the classics on my laptop. I remember a lot of good old mods for some games I used to play and found Nexus Mods had many of them saved. I wonder if they all work with newer versions? I guess I will find out. I have also saved some mods myself for games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, but don't know if they are still viable. Either way, I really appreciate that many of my favorite mods have been backed up here and newer mods and mods for newer games are also included at Nexusmods. The more reliable game mods websites, the better! I hope to interact more with this community once the gaming rig is set up (eventually . . . ). - Rob aka Maphisto86. Rabbit1251
A warm welcome to Mr. Maphisto from the Rabbit!! Maphisto, If you are interested in old (or not so old) games you might have a look at this site: (https://www.gog.com/). I've repurchased most of my old games from them. I hope that you find something there to amuse yourself with. So come on in and prepare top be entertained. The Rabbit
JimboUK
I'd second GOG, not only for the games themselves but for the fact that they've been updated to run on modern PCs and they're all DRM free.
Maphisto86
Yes, I am familiar with GOG.com. Excellent site and business model for game distribution! I bought a few games from them over the past year or so and see a lot of familiar titles. Not sure if mods made for the original retail version still work with their digital versions, though. Thank you, to both of you for the warm welcome.
JimboUK
They should work, the final installs are no different to other versions, I know the Witcher 3 does.
