Ideal Melee Damage

What do you think is a balanced amount for a weapon, if one plays on master difficulty and has melee skill, enchanting and smithing at 100? I dual wield most of the time and found that weapon damage of 100-125 to be a decent amount that is not OP. If i go single weapon then 150 is fine. This is the damage afer all skills, perks and smithing. How much damage do your character's do? I ,especially, want to hear from the players who love balance and realism. I'm assuming high level play here.

Above 50 you have to gimp yourself in order to play a game that feels balanced. Even withhout abusing alchemy, you can easily get gear that kills everything with 2 hits of a one handed weapon. At least it did it for me on my lvl 53 character (deadric one handed, 4 times +40% one handed damage on items and another 100% from the perks).

You can decide to gimp those damage enchants and trade it for something else. But you will end with a character that probaly wont die anymore (capped resists otherwise ...).

The only way is actually to not use enchanting and/or smithing or just enchant your gear with "not so good" enchants on purpose. But it doesnt feel right.

What is blocking? I never had to do that with any of my builds on master. I go pure offensive builds and I rarely die due to potions. Master level is difficult during the early levels, until you get some decent weapons. I hate having to play skyrim master difficult in a set way, since enemy scaling on this game is very messed up (too easy or difficult). Enemies do not scale past lvl 50 and you will hit that before you have explore half of the map. Still by the end of the game master difficult is too easy with your crafting skills maxed. I would expect master difficult to be challenging to people with some perks maxed but it is not.

You have to go out of your way to abuse skills like that. My character is 70th level now and its getting easy, but that is expected. My character is an extraordinary person in a high fantasy setting. Playing on master from levels 30-50 was fun. Now i use mods like Deadly Dragons and PISE to up the challenge. I think a 50 damage weapon would be frustrating, having to hack away at a bandit all day.
