Hi

i created a merged patch for my weapon mods and unfortunately i set master dependencies. Well because it worked, i didnt care.
But now i want to delete some weapon mods and do some changes, create others etc and my merge patch doesnt work anymore.
How do i disable the master dependencies in the .esp file? It must be possible some how.

I'm not at home to double check in FO4Edit, but if you right click on the esp you get the menu with options for cleaning etc. and one of those options is to remove or clean masters. Can't remember exactly what it's called. If that doesn't work, then you'll need to load it in Creation Kit. When you're on the screen in the CK (File>Data) where you see the list of esm and esp files to check for loading if you select your merged mod then on the right side of the screen you'll see the masters for it. I think it's CTRL-DEL on the master to remove it.

Some of the weapons i use dont have script implementation and use Leveld Lists.
This is why i made the merge patch.

What if i delete items and do not delete the entrys in the leveled lists? Does the game ignore the items which cannot be found or does it crash?

Dont have time to test it at the moment but i will do soon. Thx for the advice.

You can't clean masters from files that are no longer installed. You also can't use clean masters to remove masters from a Merge Patch or any other file. Clean masters only works when nothing depends on the masters. A merge Patch isn't supported but it's like a Bash Patch. After you install a mod you make a merge patch. If you uninstall a mod you make a merge patch. If you are going to uninstall and install several files wait until you are all done and make a merge patch. It should always be the last thing you do.
