Dark Brotherhood Question

Well, I find myself very attached to the Dark Brotherhood crew, it really sucks that they all died, aside from two. I'd really like to have them just kind of derping around the new Dawnstar Sanctuary just so they're there. Is there any way for me to get them back? I've tried various console commands but my spawns just start walking towards the old sanctuary. Edited by Prynne

If you do enough radiant quests AFAIK they'd get recruits. At least that's what the wiki says. Kinda like how the Thieve's Guild got new recruits by the time I completed radiant quests and was awarded the Master Armor.

Yeah, but those are just generic "recruits". They didnt even got a own name. So you got those 2 characters of whom one is just a generic guy also and a ton of noname recruits. Great!

But iam also looking for a way to "lock" NPC in place. Dont get me wrong, they shoud move, but maybe not run instantly to their old place again :x.

I'm good with the recruits but I'd love to have Veezara, and Astrid back, maybe even a few of the others even though they were such jerks. Even if they were just standing around, I'd be delighted.

You could mess around with the NPC editor http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4554

They head back to the old sanctuary because that's what their AI package orders them to do. Deleting the AI packs and replacing them by, say, those of the Dawnstar Initiates might be worth a try. There'll probably be some weird consequences, but at least they should stay put.

I was so sad that they killed off Veezara. I loved his character so much even though I don't like Argonians in general. It makes no sense to kill him off given his survivor qualities (the last of his kind, with a newfound purpose, etc.)

Yo, a shame.

Looks like Bethesda got a hang to kill the only few sympathic characters in their game. Or a hang to create quests where you have to kill those.

Thank you so much for posting the editor. There were actually not too many adverse effects, though it did mess with other playthroughs that aren't already at the Dawnstar Sanctuary. I may try to create my own NPC and just replicate all of them. How would I go about doing that? Edited by Prynne

I never understood that myself. How can Veezara be the last Shadowscale when EVERY Argonian born under The Shadow is a Shadowscale by definition.

Oh, wait, I understand now.... Since Bethesda did away with birthsigns there can never be another Shadowscale! Oh no!

Because they stopped going by that tradition long ago, probably, it happens. Culture evolves.
