NickWerewolf
My NMM crashing after game selection. And It doesnt matter which game I choose it crashing right after game selection anyway. To be honest I found this problem year ago but I didnt want to search for a solution because I didn't want to play the game. So now a want to play the game with mods and I just can't. I've tried to reinstall the game and nmm and it didnt help. I've also tried to search for a solution and I though i've found it. I figured out that my nmm files was set to read only and changed it. I also set my nmm to run in compability mode with win 7. Now NMM isn't crashing after game selection but it's freezing on category setup with empty window. I did my best but now I'm stuck. I don't now what to do but I really want to play the game with mods. Please help. Edited January 15, 2017 by NickWerewolf
JimmyRJump
First off, make sure you run NMM as an Administrator on the same tab where you set compatibiity for Win7.
NickWerewolf
I tried it but there is still empty category setup window. Besides, nmm worked well before I found this problem about year or half-year ago. This problem appeared after nmm update. I also tried to download previous versions but it didnt help. damanding
It's not very common, but a few people have had trouble with their antivirus program stopping NMM from working properly. The following message isn't actually related to your problem, but is my standard response to people having NMM issues and may help you as well. The latest versions of NMM are really bad about not properly installing and activating mods. Unfortunately they've also stopped supporting it while they work on a new one from scratch. I suggest either switching to a somewhat older, more stable version of NMM or switching to Mod Organizer 2 which has recently started receiving support again with a new developer. 0.61.21 is a decent stable version: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releasesMod Organizer 2: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194/? NickWerewolf
Downloading version 0.61.21 didn't help me but Mod Organizer is working well for me. Thank you so much for help.
